I hear ya OP. Unfortunately, if someone doesn't have a recession proof skillset, many people are going to be forced to work jobs they haven't worked since college, or high school. Yes, there are fully grown adults working at grocery store cash registers now, because they got laid off, and couldn't bare to sit on their ass all day doing nothing.

You didn't pay into diddly, your employers did for you. Now suck it up and go cut somebody's grass. Start a lawn business, put up a lemonade stand, do something for the love of god.

Your pay check went to sustain illegal aliens, you know they work for peanuts so CA got to take CARE of them while you make circles in your pit.

I used to work for Cal Unemployment until we moved to Arizona for my husbands work.

Did you send in ALL of your weekly "Looking for a job" history forms? did you sign them? If not, then it is probably causing the holdhup. Be prepeaired to spend a lot of your time solving this issue.

The other thing is your prev employer may have sent in new info indicating that THEY beleive you sould not be getting unemployment payments.

If that is so, then you will have a hearing precided over by someone from unemplopyment who will be the judge.

If you are an Affirmative-Action employee (woman or minority) you will pretty much be sided with by Unemployment and your benifits will be restored, retroactivly. If you are a white male, the facts of the case will be looked at, and 9 times out of 10 Unemployment will side with the Employer and your apyments will be stopped. You will then have to repay every penny that was given to you.

The reasons for this are complicated and leagal, I don't know the details, that is just how it is to be done. So what I'm saying, is if you are the correct favored gender or race, and have filled out all of your forms correctly yiou are probably going to have your payments restored. If not, I wouldn't count on the money comming in, and I would say, get ready to pay it back. (but maybe you will be lucky and have it come back on for you, it happnens sometimes if the employer is provably lying or something like that)

Well, if you CAN'T get a job and CAN'T get unemployment, turn to a life of crime. Rob a fucking bank or liquor store. You MAY get away with it if you're CLEVER enough. You never hear about the ones that get away, but they do.

Try filling out a couple thousand job applications, OP, you might just get lucky.
