Enshrined in the Laws at Sinai are things that do not work because man cannot completely keeps such laws 100% of the time throughout his entire life... The Eye for and Eye does not work for a partnership, a family, a tribe, or a nation or world, or any human society... yet they choose in their ignorance to bind themselves by these laws... what they show in the example is that man is so morally corrupted he cannot follow ANY law what so ever. Commanded to love one another as they love themselves, or commanded to completely and fully commit genocide, they could not ever fully follow the entire letter of the law, not ever... no matter what that law was.

Their historical example should serve as an example to all of mankind that those who say, "there ought to be a law" have no knowledge of the true state of human nature at all.

So now they are hoping and have been attempting to resort to 're-education', genetic engineering and mind control in the attempt to control mankind and get him to obey whatever laws there be 100% of the time, each and every citizen and subject and slave.
