Shinning prism hovering in sky over Mid Ohio, any one else see this?

Were you able to take a photo? Did it stay for a long time in one place? Describe it a little more

I was not able to take a photo, I was taking a nap when my brother said if I wanted to see something cool. I had no idea till we were already driving.

It looked like it was in the distance hovering in place. It was a prism of colors, could of been reflection off something.

But it was a small but full prism of rainbow colors. I don't know what it was but I assumed it could of been just the way the light was reflecting off some aircraft in the distance cause the sun's angle and all.

But it was pretty cool looking I have to admit. Have no idea what it was.

It was hard to say, it looked closer than what it might of actually been. I saw this from Mansfield Ohio. It was closer to the Horizon. It's gone now, we didn't stay out long cause I had work to do on my server.

It was cool looking though, have no idea what it was...never seen anything like it before.

I dont know what you saw, but i was driving to the store a lil while ago, during the sunset, and the sky was RED bright red! it was insane! i have never seen anything like that, and then the red just faded away slowly right infront of me. I wish i had a camera, cuz that was something! Oh and I am in northern ohio.

I have no idea what it was.

HARPP had a huge spike but don't know if the time matches up at all.

About a month ago I looked up at the sky (white scattered clouds bright sky, pretty day) and in an instant I saw what looked like a rectangle set on a diamond like angle
It looked to be right below the clouds, with clouds around it, had the look of the thickness of a bubble, instantly it flipped and the prisme reflection from the sunlight made it more visible, It was as if it flipped "up" or only the edge of it would have been visible to me and I couldn't see it anymore.
So I figured my eyes were just playing tricks on me and went on about what I was doing. It kept nagging at me that maybe my eyes had played a trick on me. In the past, spots, circles, shadows but not a rectangle shape set on a diamond angle. All of 4 seconds here.
That is why I asked you what it looked like. It was very vivid.

I just saw it tonight from San Diego, Ca 11/2/10 at 1am.

It is exactly like you describe it, a square diamond in the sky and it is creating a prism like effect. I thought at first it was a plane because I saw flashes of red and blue but it didn't appear to be moving across the sky. I got the binoculars and it looks like a small prism. Without binoculars it looks kind of like those globes that would have colored electricity flow to your hands. It kind of looks like a spider with multi colored leggs.

Don't know what it is, am guessing it is some sort of satellite.

I was told years ago that a diamond shaped prism in the sky was called a "moon doggy". Something to do with moisture in the sky and the halo-aora from a full moon.

I'm located in NW Kansas. This morning I saw a prism hanging in the sky. It was east of here. It wasn't moving at all. It was there for about 20 minutes, I guess. But there were also alot more chem-trails than usual. Didn't have my camera with me, unfortunately.
Very strange, huh? Oh, and note the date, exactly 2 years from the date of your initial posting, just about. I googled "strange prisms in the sky", and found your posting here.

....oh, and there's no full moon.
