You are right...it is a very strange series of events going on. While I personally wouldn't burn any books I find it quite strange that the media, President, Sec. of State, Gen. Petraus, etc. are all weighing in. Not to mention we have the muslims telling us what our Constitution says.

Divide and conquer is the theory behind this whole story.

It seems to me that we are focussing on religion as the divider among people and perpetuating a long held myth that people of other faiths are ignorant and violent.

Yes, it is a purposeful distraction to alienate people from the truth. I thought this s**t stopped in the sixties, but religious intolerance is rearing its ugly head once more. As to be expected I guess as everyone is looking for a scapegoat for the world's problems. Where society should be looking is into their own hearts and realize their true power comes from unity, peace and freedom. Unity through diversity.

The big scam is to play on the insecurities and fears of the populace. To create a focal point, a place where the mass conscious mind can be manipulated adn controlled, a place where dependancy, or a strong central government for example can exist as to foment this belief that we the people need assistance because there is a constant threat to our security, way of life whatever you would call it.

The USA is not the only nation that does this, all strong central government implement the same control mechanism, even so far as to hypmotize the populace into dying for some fabrication.

History shows us that this type of rhetoric leads to soem kind of contrived confrontation and many will soon foment this belief of war with Islam as nessasary to our very survival.
