Explaining 9-11 to a child
Ok, a background...I have a 9yr old son, and Im taking him to a local 9-11 memorial tomorrow.

Ive thought long and hard about explaining in detail that theres more to this than meets the eye, but i also dont want to make his mind up for him.

I would like to try and let him know that there are such things as propaganda, lies, and other motives that were POSIIBLY in play on that day.

I cant state strongly enough that I will not push my beleifs on him about this being an inside job, but I would like to make sure that he knows its ok to think for yourself, and not beleive all that you see on T.V.
He has watched some of a few movies, like Loose Change, Zeitgeist, and In plane site.

I didnt force him, or explain anything then...he just saw some of them and watched a little.

I would also like to explain how I feel about the tragedy, before I get called a troofer or no-planer.

I havent come to any full conclusion yet, and Im not sure if there were planes or not.

I have been mostly concentrating on the why's of that day, and the inside knowledge, and foreknowledge...havent gotten as far as deciding those things.

And from what I feel, at this point it doesnt matter to my investigation if there were planes, missiles, remote control planes, etc...Im still stuck in the why and who part.

So please, just help me figure out if its a good idea, or not to allow my son to be opened up to free thought at this point, I would greatly appreciate it.

Have any of the members here told their children?

What age?

How far did you explain things?

Thank you all

memorial? for who? fuck, we don't even know which of the victims were real and which were insurance scams.

someone ought to have investigated those events properly so people could know what happened and not have to explain it to their kids.

oh yeh, the gov. DID do that. the Commission report.

I kind of agree, but thats not what I was looking for.

And as far as we know, at least the 343 FDNY, 23 NYPD and 37 Port Authority officers deserve a memorial.

I let him read about it first, then told him that some people thought the Japanese radio transmissions were intercepted by us, and werent relayed to Pearl Harbor fast enough to defend ourselves...posibly to get our country involved in WW2, because the public wished to stay out of it.

And that it MAY have been delyed on purpose for that reason.

My son is 12, I gave him both sides of the story, the Govs and the Conspiracy, it stimulated him to do his own research. He is only 12 but he is "AWAKE" Now if I could get him to shut-up about the Annunaki......

Thats what Im looking for, Z.K.

How did he seem to take the idea that our gov may have a dark side, and could kill our citizens to get into a conflict?

I think thats gonna be the hardest part is letting him wrap his little head around that one.

I watched the Rambo movie where he went to Afghanistan and was left hung out, and was lied to...so he does have the ability to grasp the lies of war and conflict.

Yeah, I know....it was a movie.

If I was your kid I would ask you what you thought.

Then I would ask you if your government did it why didn't anyone do anything about it? Then I would be inclined to think that I was a prisoner in an occupied country (not unlike nazi germany) and prob develop some kind of fear based psychosis or persecution syndrome..

good luck with that.

did your kid ask you why you don't do anything about it, does he think you are cowards or does he think you approve of it?

does he think the ends justify the means? do all americans? or are they all drugged and asleep. it's a tough situation for a kid to comprehend.

has he read 1984 or brave new world?

He doesnt have any yet.

But he will be exposed to a large element of "9-11 was an inside job" people that I know at the memorial tomorrow.

And the CGI reply...Im not really looking to explain what I think happned, or even steering him to a theory.

I just want to know the best way to open his mind up, and allow him to understand that its ok to doubt, and think outside the box.

I will help him look into ANY theory, and ANY option there is.

I want my boy to know that having your own opinion is OK, and also important.

I had thought he may be too young, but then again, he isnt too young for them to teach him the official story in school last year, so that made me feel alot better about it.

I think that americans not doing anything about it can only be understood as either.

-giving up in cowardice and/or fear
-supporting the evil means that are justified by the ends.

These are all pretty good questions, and after the memorial service tomorrow, or if we talk about it later today, after school I will give you the answers to them.

The only questions he has asked me in the past few years about it, are these...

How were they able to take the planes over: I replied that they either used surprise, and boxcutters to attack the passengers and crew, thenm broke the door down, OR there was no struggle, and it was planned to allow it to happen.

His other question was this:

Where are the planes at in the PA. crash site, and the Pentagon?

this one took a bit...
I said that the planes hit so hard, that they disintegrated, OR there were no planes, but some type of missile or bombs.
AND the possibility that a fighter jet had shot down the flight over PA, and thats all that was left.

Again, I cant say enough that I personally havent got it figured out yet, and dont take a stance besides something as done from inside.

And it only takes ONE person inside with a bit of info to make it an inside job.

Please, keep replying...I am glad Im getting serious replies here.

Well first you have to explain why Japan had a few cities turned into vapor, and then explain way 80% of Korwa was toasted and the you have to explain why Veitnam was tgurned to lethal burning chemicals on villages, now you're ready to explain why 911 could have happened

Including the other reasons, like drugs, money and o=power, not just the ones in the books.

Also explained the Gulf of Tonkin issue, and almost all of thwese things I let him Google, that way he can have access to BOTH, if not all 3 sides of the stories.

No, it doesnt.

If anything, public schools are a grooming field for the future leaders and taxpayers to be conditioned to accept these things, AND be dumbed down.

Our schools, nationwide, are so far UNDER the global standsrds.

This is another reason why I want to feed him as much info as I can.

Niether of us are trying to guide our kids decisions.

Only allowing them to make their own choices, and giving them every option to look at.

There is always a bit of guidance, but not steering.
