I use to go to this Acura dealer in Orland Park Il. The people were great and I loved serving my car there, the people really DID care. But one day in the waiting area I hear the salesman talking about the GM and how he was fired. I was shock, my family and I have bought 6 Acura's a lot of it due to the GM and our salesman, who I has not seen either. Our salesman was like an Apple genius, except Acura genius he knew everything, was very helpful and friendly. He even went out of his way to deliver my mothers MDX for a birthday present and spent almost two hours showing her the SUV. (My mom is not tech savvy) these two guys made this dealer awesome. I was disappointed and my lease was up soon, I wanted another Acura. I came in with my wife a month later, right away the new GM, a short bald man named Pat Dazzo asked us if we needed help. We told him we were there for a new TL, my lease was up, and it was our third one. He said "I'll take care of you personally, our best business is repeat customers" He had a salesperson do a test drive with us while he took care of the paperwork. We put the same money down & our payment was about the same, so it seemed ok. The salesman who went over our new TL was far from genius like the other guy was. He was I'm sorry to say uneducated. Just as my wife was leaving we saw our old salesman outside the building, he was cooking lunch for the employees. She asked him if he could go over our car sometime next week and the following Monday, our Acura genius was there and took care of us. He was just as awesome as he was 3 years ago. But in March when we did our taxes, our accountant found that the "great deal for repeat customers" was BS! The new GM screwed us for about 3 grand. We trusted them because our deals were always great, but the new GM is a scumbag. When we asked him about it, he never returned a call, and when we came into the store he said he gave us the deal we agreed with and they are in the business to make money. Really? No one in my family will ever go there again to buy a car, we use the service, because it hasn't changed, but our next 4 Acura's the family is due to buy this year, will be from somewhere else. This one person ruined the great business relationship we had with the original GM and we are thankful our old salesman was still there to go over our car and let us know that the service there was still great. He did something the scumbag didn't he apologized and tried to keep our business. To be fair I told him, if that GM is no longer there, let us know, we would give him our business, but not if the scumbag is still employed there. They should make our salesman the GM, at least he cared. That GM was both a scumbag car salesman and a baby boomer!
