Admits the tax for break for rich would only affect 3% of said small businesses.

Boenhner says that he would vote for tax break for less than 250K if it was only one to pass. Schaefer asked him twice in disbelief reguarding his answer.

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

I don't know why you received a 1-star vote except some people are too stupid to read and research.

Boehner did say that, and as Ed Wallace said, "Boehner blinks." [link to www.insideautomotive.com] (13 Sept 2010)

Frankly, I'm tired of protecting the wealthy class by killing off the middle class. It's the middle class that has supported this nation for generations. The wealthy class don't do shit for the country in comparison.

The explosion in San Bruno is a direct result of those tax breaks. Since Reagan in 1980 started those tax breaks our infrastructure has fallen apart.

"Trickle down" has not worked, the rich have not invested in business. They have hid their money offshore, in loopholes or shipped their factories overseas.

Their bottom line is the reason this once proud nation is struggling.

Boehner did this to take away the Dems talking points for their commercials that they already made in anticipation of making him appear as not being for the tax cuts for middle class and poor.

Typical class warfare by the Marxist Democrats.

Think so? Senate minority leader McConnell has gone to damage control mode!

On Sunday, House GOP Leader John Boehner said he would support renewing tax cuts for the middle class but not the wealthy if that was his only choice.

Senate Republicans will oppose any effort to renew soon-to-expire Bush administration tax cuts if upper income taxpayers are excluded from the reductions. A spokesman for Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell said Monday that every Senate Republican has pledged to oppose President Barack Obama's tax-cutting plan. Obama would renew the tax cuts for most people, but let the top income tax rate rise back to almost 40 percent on family or small business income over $250,000.

Why would anyone who is not a millionaire or a billionaire vote the repubs back in power?
