Anonymous Coward User ID: 672972 Canada 09/16/2010 07:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | your son can die from these diseases if he gets them and you don't get him immunized. sign the consent forms you stunned cunt. you don't screw around with stuff like HepB and what not. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 743828Chickenpox is very, very rarely a serious illness. I agree that the others can be serious. All anyone can do is weigh up the chances of their child becoming seriously ill with one of these illnesses, by looking up the statistics for their area, and compare it to the risks of an adverse reaction to a vaccine. These are documented, and are more frequent than one might think. I'm not referring to autism either. Even the documentation provided by doctors here refers to the chances that vaccines will not confer resistance, will result in mild disease, or might cause severe side effects. These serious reactions are rare, but so are deaths. The question is, which is the bigger risk for this child? This mother is not a "stunned cunt". In fact, in carefully thinking about what is in the vaccines and what their potential effects might be, she is showing that she is a thinking and reasoning person. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 743828 Canada 09/16/2010 07:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | thinking and reasoning I think not. Look at it this way. families take vacations every year. One of the most popular regions especially during a Canadian winter is the Carribean. Mexico, Cuba, Bahama's places like that. do you realize how easy it is to pick up hepatitis? It's as easy as a glass of water with ice cubes. food for thought if you want to really fuck over your children's future like that. a parent's stupidity and lack of intelligence should never have to rest on a child's shoulders who doesn't know any better. |

What do you think the odds are of him on a liver transplant waiting list if he gets it? Meningitis can cripple a person and also be deadly. Chicken pox once past puberty can cause sterility in males or perhaps you do not want any grandchildren? Polio is both crippling and deadly. In the states we are even seeing cases of kids dying of measles and whooping cough, thanks to our open borders. Don't be stupid. Get the kid the vaccines. Children used to die from these things and like the USA, Canada is becoming a destination of choice for many immigrants none of whom have any kinds of vaccinations and can be carriers walking around even if they are not sick themselves. |
Ice Princess User ID: 875198 United States 09/16/2010 07:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So much hostility from the pro-vax posters! Obviously they have some deep regrets and the only way they can make themselves feel better is to call informed anti-vaxers "cunts" and other savory terms. Must suck to be so bitter that you click on threads that don't pertain to you just to harrass those of us who are trying to do the best thing for our children. As for those "diseases" that were "eradicated", most of those disappeared with increased sanitation, would have done so with or without useless vaccines. I didn't even get my children tetanus. IF they ever get a deep puncture wound I would consider tetanus immunoglobulin, and anyway you usually get a booster when you get a deep puncture wound anyway. Measles/mumps/rubella are mostly pretty mild illnesses. "Diseases" sound so much scarier though. Hep B is not a disease of children. The vaccine-craze is purely financially motivated and all of you shills know it. |

Oh Lord. Chicken Pox is dangerous? Please. If they hadn't made the darned vaccine and let everyone get it naturally then the male sterility risk would be much less, however there is still almost a nil chance of that happening. Newsflash for you too - the chickenpox vax has one of the lowest efficacy rates so little jabbed-up Johnny may not be protected anyway! Polio, please, it's 2010. As for global travel, if there were cases of American travelers contracted it overseas Big Pharma would be ALL over it. I can guarantee you plenty of adults if not most do not have polio antibodies. MOST cases of polio are NOT crippling, fyi. Kids dying of measles and whooping cough? Last time I checked, death rate was like 1 in 500,000. Almost always in immunocompromised kids. Explain how people can "carry" the above mentioned diseases yet be asymptomatic? I am VERY curious about that. My kids are unvaxed and I am pretty sure I would know if they were carrying around measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox, whooping cough, etc and have no symptoms. Ridiculous. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 956570 United States 09/16/2010 07:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OP, the fact is that these diseases were on the decline BEFORE vaccines. One factor that probably plays a large part in this is sanitation like indoor plumbing. Notice they don't vaccinate for scarlet fever? Yet, when is the last time you heard of a kid who had it? My mom had it when she was a kid. These people blindly telling you to vaccinate are ignorant to the valid research out there. I also don't see them providing any links. They're just repeating the bs from the government. I honestly can't believe that anyone would still trust any government in this day and age. Here is a link to charts showing the decline in the various diseases prior to vaccines: [link to www.whale.to] Here is another link that has a bunch of links to vaccine research: [link to www.preciouspassage.com] |
