If born, sinning and damning it's soul during he/hers natural life t What if the baby would have saved millions with a new idea? When you abort, you take the roll of god. Yes, I think all babies who die go to heaven. That in no way makes it alright to murder him. |

If being born, sinning and damning he/hers/it's soul during he/hers/it natural life to eternal damnation? Quoting: manycoloredcrowWith an 80 year or so life Span versus Eternity in Hell you might be just doing he/hers/it a favor? Why risk it? OR Is he/hers/it born into sin? SO IS Is a Cesarean considered a Christian (insert religion here)birth, by Biblical standards? Thoughts, would be great. I really wonder about this. thx Most world religions would consider abortion to be an act of murder. Justifications such as you have outlined here seem to be a construct designed to soothe the conscience for a wrong knowingly committed. In some religions, we are considered to be born into sin and then ritually cleansed through baptism. This is not a universally-held belief, and should not be considered as grounds to commit murder. The only objections to medical intervention in the birthing process that I've ever heard of, are those of the Jehovah's Witnesses who prefer to accept God's will over their own in matters of death or healing. In my opinion, if a person were truly concerned that their children might have an afterlife, and that this afterlife could include vast suffering, then that person ought to carry this concern BEFORE becoming impregnated, rather than use it as a paltry excuse to fix an unplanned pregnancy. |
