Just curious to see what everyone takes for overall health, brain function, energy, etc etc.


Try to list the functions that you (or wikipedia for the lazies) get from each supplement and how much..



Every day I take:

DHA Omega-3 Fatty Acids: 120 mg OF DHA (3 100 mg capsules @ 40% potency, Neuromins) of algae derived Omega-3 (DHA) fatty acids. I get much clearer thought and some energy from it. It is found that DHA is an essential part of breast milk for infancy development in the areas of the eye, cardiovascular, and brain functions.. It is clinically proven that women whom take the prenatal supplements which include this, have a child with 3-5 IQ points above the placebo test group. EPA Omega-3 fatty acids are also good for you, however your body can convert DHA to EPA but not the other way around meaning that DHA carries the upper hand in providing both EPA and DHA.

Piracetam: 800mg My buddy in MED school lived by this stuff, I cant take the taste of it, so I stuff XXX Capsules with a Cap-M-Quick kit... A quick excerpt from Wiki that I believe is relative : influences neuronal and vascular functions and influences cognitive function without acting as a sedative or a stimulant

I eat a lot of brazil nuts and dried mango. Because they are good and are said to prevent cancer, but who knows.

I take 2 vitamin d3 5000iu daily plus 900mg of stjohns wort,One a day multivitamin, magnesuim 1200mg,Guggul 3 capsules twice a day, 2 capsules twice aday of plant source enzymes.plus a maxide 10mg daily. I am overweight 280lbs this helps keep me going everyday keeps my bloodpressure down yeah an sometimes I take 4 tablespoons in water of apple cidervinegar. This one of the healthiest supplements on the planet.

No offense but at 280lbs your not exactly the best to give out health advice unless your a former nfl lineman or something of that caliber. Instead of taking a bunch of supplements to keep you going maybe do some cardio.

He will lose way more weight with just intermittent fasting and eating less calories. That's easier than cardio, but he won't do any of it because he's a lazy fat fuck who thinks he can buy his way out of obesity.
