Everyone seems to have not too great tattoos. I see tons of people with very amateur, crooked, and even misspelled low quality examples plastered all over their out of shape bodies. Quoting: InkyDinky 838240At some point this fad will end, just like all other fads ( tongue piercings, eyebrow piercings, mulletts, hula hoops ) Once the fad is over there will just be a bunch of dopes with crappy looking embarrasing tatoos. Is there a good way to invest in tatoo removal to financially cash in on all the lemmings with bad tatoos? I think that could make you a millionaire!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Bikers use it on their colors, too. Nothing shouts rebel! like unintelligble words injected into your neck. |

But the pop culture fad will fade eventually. everything goes in cycles |
InkyStinky (OP) User ID: 838240 United States 09/20/2010 11:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OP is a sucker who's worn what the mall tells him to his entire life? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1085781No, I am actually a non-conformist, so I wouldnt wear the crappy styles of clothes sold at malls, and as well I definitely wouldnt wear a crappy semi-permanent tattoo. I just wanted to get a reading of what y'all think about tattoos. I totally understand how someone could desire to get a tattoo, but it seems like most people get butt-ass ugly poorly executed, nasty looking ones (like all those hideous tramp stamps ), and IMHO probably most are people are getting them to follow the pack because its "cool" |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1085629 Canada 09/20/2010 11:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | None of mine are visible anyway, so even if I did give a fuck about the "fad" ending it would not affect my life one bit. Who the hell starts threads like this anyway? This is a big part of what is wrong with society these days-- people that can't seem to mind their own god-damned business and lead their lives without criticizing others' choices. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 757190 United States 09/21/2010 12:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How come you only see the lower working class with tatoos? You never see a lawyer, engineer, upper management, doctors, etc., with tatoos. Just those who lives are controlled by the mass media. Quoting: RD47blog 1089242I know 2 female docs with tats, one with a nose piercing, and a male neurosurgeon with tats, an earring, and long hair. Of course I do live in Illinois, I don't know if that's anything to do with it....? Our "upper-class" are all swingers and cokeheads. Not judging, just saying. |

Quoting: InkyDinky 838240I started pondering that very question back in 1992. Needless to say, fads can last a LOT longer than you think possible. I still see guys wearing pants where the waistband is slung halfway down their arse too. And it seemed that the whole wearing-spandex-as-pants had only just stopped only to start again with a vengeance. And well, the people who couldn't afford to get good tattoos probably won't be able to get them removed properly either. The urge to save humanity is always a false front for the urge to rule it. - HL Mencken |

They are for ME! "I'm still here, you bastards!"...Papillion |

Quoting: geminilionYeah, I had a couple of them put on my upper biceps before it all became a fad too. Now that there are women all over the place with tattoos and kids running around with this crap scribbled all over their necks and legs and looking as if they've got some kind of skin disease I wouldn't demean myself by getting another tattoo. |
