That is standard operating procedure for TPTB. They will jump on any nationalist party and tear it to shreds in their controlled media, demonizing it. I saw that with my own eyes in Romania in the 2000 elections. It's unbelievably disgusting and the manipulation and TPTB desperation is so obvious.

If the party gets in Parliament it will be isolated by the other parties, calling it "untouchable". If that doesn't work and the party gets to power then all the other EU countries band together and try to isolate the country in which that party won (see the Austria - Haider example).
