How often would you say you can get it for spot at a dealer? i dont trust them myself, but I haven't been to one yet. They want way more than ebay for silver eagles over the phone.

APMEX's website will give you a good idea. Local shops will usually charge a little more.

I've had this site bookmarked for years. Awesome.

My local coin shop charges about a buck and 1/2 over spot for junk.

I got close tonight, almost snagged a small amount for $0.40 under spot price, but it got sniped at the last minute. I still got it, but it was $.25 over spot so i think i did well.

I'm more wondering what people are used to paying and where they buy it from.
