An earthquake opening up a fissure sounds plausible. But the crack they showed in the pictures seemed far too small to drain a river so quickly.
Also doesn't explain the loud boom that people heard. And an earthquake would be recorded...
The crack maybe small near the surface, but it might be HUGE below the surface. What ever it is, these are all bad signs. And people need to start opening there eyes. Shits-a-comin.
