Good call on connecting the plane crash with the gas stuff, didn´t know that Poland had that big gas reserves. True, without "help" (more like blackmail probably) from outside it´d be quite hard to use them i guess.

Unlikely i think, the security measures for the important computers controlling the reactor are quite hard, at least that is said. I.e. they should not be connected to the Intranet of the plant, making it almost impossible to infect them (except you plug a USB stick into them).

In Germany(!) the control computers are only allowed to have the control mechanisms, nothing else, no real OS, no vulnerabilities.

If that is true is another question. No idea about other countries, but it should be the same i guess.

In the Iran plant, stuxnet is claimed to have destroyed the centrifuges to enrich Uranium. I think that´s the reason it was made for.

I don't think it will escalate into anything significant. This is just China stumping its chest once again. Japan has too much to lose in such a conflict.

But, it's just one more piece of the puzzle. You have to take into account everything that's going on right now, on a worldwide scale. Including what Castro said recently about their failed system, and "mysteriously" refuted a couple of days after his statement.

I wouldn´t be so sure about all of Germany surrendering at once. Especially in the West there are big fears/hates on Russia, while in the East more people hate the capitalim that came with the reunification.

IF Russia would come close (indeed, Poland would fight very hard, but had no chance in the end without support), i could imagine many people in the East greeting them, even fighting for them.
20 years is a long time, but especially the youths in the East have been pretty much fucked from behind by the West.
