You are thinking 2 dimensionally.

Not enough surface area in the few windows on your house, and it's blocked by the house 1/2 of the day.

You need trackers that get you 10 hours + and a material that can handle more current. Meaning POWER, which a thin little sprayed on layer can't do. Most of the thin films can't handle the power.

Maybe on a big building that's all windows, MAYBE, but it's still not going to be much when a building like that takes massive amounts of power anyway.

Get a clue and start using common sense when you design these things.

most homes dont have enough south facing windows to generate enough solar watts to run a few large applainces in their homes.

using this product on windows facing the north, would not be effective...and east/west facing windows would only get a few hours of effective/direct sunlight a day.

That said, it said, it works with artificial and natural lighting. and thus who knows how much power it generate from any source. The specs are not there.

You are right about the south facing windows. WIth current technology.

Things like this will make one wonder if Moore's law works with the solar panel industry.
