Evidently, there are a few here who don't understand the benefits of MJ.

I used to work construction and really beat myself to get things done. What can I say I have to use my arms as pry bars, hammer slingers, my back contorted in different angles and I have basically a chronic problem called old age coming on and a "pre arthritic condition." I came home nauseated feeling, usually somewhat dehydrated, sore and just generally aching. First I would get a little water, then some MJ to take care of the nausea, relieve the aches and pains AND act as a tool to aid sleep I get three remedies in one. No ibuprofen, no dramadine, no Sominex. Great trade for me. Healthy trade for me.

... if everyone smokes, its the best thing, and even if one person who hasn't smoked / doesn't smoke joins the gang, he, spoil the party....

This is a feisty conversation. Currently the legal system has drawn the line at marijuana as a boundary between legal and illegal drugs. I really don't know anyone who wants to become a pot head, but know a lot of people who desperately want to be free of the pot addiction.

Risk of addiction is a very bad thing and criminalization, while severe and with inherent counterproductive tendencies may be the better of a series of bad choice. Ultimatly, stemming addiction takes top priority.

Big problem is that given the poor state of child rearing, there are many, neglectful parents who turn a blind eye to their children's behavior. Thus it becomes theoretically easier for kids to get high when marijuana is legal, which is unacceptable.

Can you stoners read? And also comprehend what you read? Mexican drug cartels will be able to set up marijuana companies, produce large amounts of marijuana, and ship those amounts throughout California. As long as they control the town where the marijuana business is located.

This will give them a framework upon which to build and extend their organized crime empires. It will give them front operations for money laundering and other criminal activities. And then they will go to war in California, against other cartels, for control of territory in California.

The marijuana thing in Ca is the biggest bunch of horseshit ever conceived.Do you know that those "MEDICAL CENTERS" are legal drug dealers, they make BANK and the Dr's who never believed pot should be illegal at all prescrib it for everything!!!! Bullshit.

Remember prohibition? That was a progressive movement and it messed up big time. After repeal, crime went down.

Learn the history of marijuana and what our government did to Americans and the motive behind the government's effort.

The real crime was what the government has done about all of this dealing with a damn plant. I'm not talking about the cocaine issue, that is a different story but for the love of G-d, people need to be educated about the real truth and not just the propaganda that has destroyed millions of lives.
