The Official "I'm sick and tired of hearing about Facebook and Twitter" thread.

Who's with me here? I've had enough, the commercials for that ridiculous facebook movie are being run every 12 minutes on nearly every single tv channel I get.

I flip to CNN or go to their website, every 15th word is Twitter.

Both services are nothing more than giant data mining operations where people willingly give the government all their information. Every couple days someone gets arrested thanks to their facebook page. People lose their jobs thanks to their facebook page.

How did these services, especially facebook, become so trusted by the general public that everyone is willing to post personal information for anyone to see on it? I would never post such detailed personal information on the internet, it's just common sense. Facebook seems to be the anti-common sense website.

And Twitter? Seems to be just a bunch of celebrities and politicians (probably their assistants, not themselves!) posting their opinions on things. I don't get it.

Will this ever stop? Will these sites ever fall out of favor will the general public? Will we ever get another day on planet earth where people are incessantly yapping about facebook?
