It truly is a blessing and I am making the most of it.

I agree, the life I live isn't meant for everyone, but it can be available for everyone in the future, if society came together now to create a self-sustaining, super efficient system that provided each individual with all the necessities of life.

Future technology will make this possible, and then everyone can live a wonderful life like me.

I'm living OP's life atm, but not by choice. I was laid off three months ago and am the quintessential "unemployed loser."

Unless you're making alot of money and doing it without too much stress, what exactly is the point of working like a dog? Most people are chained to mortgages they can't really afford, raising kids they didn't plan on having and dread monday mornings when they have to report to the plantation.
They rationalize their plight by telling themselves they're doing the right thing, they're mature etc, but at the end of the day are they really happy with their lives? Who's the real "loser?"

Who says you have to go to college to work? It's not needed for a lot of peoples' dream jobs. Smart, resourceful people can have the life they want and work.

Yeah well I'm at work, providing for myself & family - I like to get on here for news & occasionally have a few minutes to read the entertaining threads. If I had 10 hours a day to piss away, I'd read through the whole pathetic thread.
