So the property that the states takes for public use with out adequate reimbursement can be paid in silver? It doesn't sound like any progress to me. The constitution clearly states, no state shall make ANYTHING other than gold and silver coin payment of debt. So allowing any other payment is simply unconstitutional. The constitution also says a person's property can not be taken for public use without just compensation. If you take $100 they have to give you $100 for it. So this is bullshit, the same as it has always been. Governments were created to serve man, not to steal your property while threatening to imprison you if you resist.
