There was some kind of crisis in the Middle East before the 2012 elections. A lot of countries sent armies to the area. This happens in the run up to the elections in the USA in November of 2012. There was a call to bomb one countries facilities, then there was a counter strike and that is when all hell breaks loose and there is an all out ground war that does not immediately involve any nuclear weapons.

The Tea Party organizes protests in DC against the war and this is just shortly before the election now, a few days before. My understanding is that the lead up to this takes at least 6 weeks. This shakes up the elections and all the political folks who were ahead are then behind in the polls. A dramatic shift happens in the national consensus. After the elections there are problems, people believe that the elections were not official or rigged.

Then there is a blackout and they stop reporting regular news, I believe this is when the government takes control. Then there is a problem with the Internet, it either stops working or is shut off. Shortly after that there is an electrical blackout. The only news anyone got was through radio, my Dad listened to the radio in the truck during this time. Then he heard something he didn't like and I remember standing there in awe of how panicked he seemed. I remember my parents rushing around the house, gathering up things and putting them in the truck. Then we were gone. This is one of the earliest memories I have, its rather vague, but later on my Dad helped fill in most of the rest. He never told me what he heard on the radio that freaked him out so much though.

Now as I said, the last newspaper that we saw at the Denver Post printing presses was dated November 22nd. It had in huge print on the front, "PRES OBAMA TO STEP DOWN!" and other headlines about a Black Friday but I am not sure why it was black. Sometime before the new year, my parents and I were living up in the mountains, this is after the news blackout and electricity stopped working. We lived there for many years, only getting news second hand a few times a year when we encountered someone out in the woods. We lived there for 15 years. For at least the first 2 years there was an orange glow on the horizon if you hiked up to the top of one of the mountains our cabin was located by. I remember seeing it and thinking it was normal, and only asking when I was about 4 or 5 years old, why the orange glow had gone away. My father said it was the Fires of Civilization but I still don't understand what he meant. I now believe it was many large forest fires probably caused by nuclear weapons.

If everything happens like I said in 2012, and I don't see why it wouldn't, I certainly havn't changed anything, then you need to be prepared. You all need to be prepared to defend yourselves and get out of the cities. You will know I am telling the truth in 2 years time, when there is war in the middle east and the Tea Party marches on DC and after the elections when there is a debate about the legitimacy of the current and past elections. Then there will be the news blackout, the Internet stops working, and then the electricity goes dead. I am pretty sure the last bit happened right around the date of the last Newspaper we could find which was dated November 22nd. So you should know by then. I can't say how much time you have after that, since we left Boulder for 15 years and didn't return. I think the war over here started before January 2013. To be safe, leave before the end of November, or earlier.

Now, can anyone tell me, since I am curious, what it means to have a "Black Friday"? That was a headline in the newspaper at the Denver Post that I saw. Does this mean a bad day? Does it have to do with astrology or something?

Thread: I HAVE TIME TRAVELED FROM THE YEAR 2040 to 2010, AND I'M STUCK HERE!

Someone was kind enough to compile a summary of all my posts, I think around page 17.


I have traveled to Candle Lake and checked it out. I am now positive this is a safe location. It has taken me a while, I have mostly used public transportation and hitch hiking, as well as a lot of rugged walking to cross back and forth. I hiked through Flathead and then Glacier parks, getting to Montana and back was the hardest part. I met with no resistance and found the trip went fairly smooth. Took several weeks though, if someone had a car they could shave off a large portion of that time.


On my journey's I met with many people across this country, mostly small town folk. Not a single person I met wasn't concerned with 2012. A few people who I got along with I went so far as to share my story and some advice with them. I had a lot of time to think, and I thought I should share this information with those here on Godlikeproductions who have been so kind to me. To those who have been rude to me here, please just keep moving on, I have no time to talk to you or convince you of your ignorant ways.

My warning to those who will listen is simple.

YOU ARE RUNNING OUT OF FUCKING TIME PEOPLE! Nobody is prepared, not one person I talked to could say definitively that they could grab all of their stuff and supplies and be ready for 3 months of living without electricity or water pumped to them or food bought at the store. I found most people goto the store every week, and some of these people go several times a week! I couldn't believe it when one guy said he goes to the store to buy food every day!

You need to get prepared, you need at minimum the following supplies that I will list here.

A tent.
A sleeping bag.
A good compact pillow.
Medical supplies including as many pills for pain, antibiotics, and as many ace bandages as you can carry.
Super glue.
Duck tape, the silver kind works best.
A small handgun with several hundred rounds of ammunition.
A hunting rifle with several thousand rounds of ammunition.
A hunting/carving knife.
Water filtration system, any 5 stage process should do as long as you also bring something to kill all the parasites and bacteria. Iodine or bleach work well.
A cast iron skillet, must be cast iron. Work as both a shield and a cooking product. I have knocked out at least one person with a cast iron skillet. I can also attest to their durability when being fired at by a high caliber weapon.
Get yourself a backpack that also has wheels. Trust me, when its flat enough you'll appreciate those wheels. You can load a lot of stuff into a pack and then wheel it along.
Then go out and buy as many mre's or pre-packaged food that will survive at least 5 years.
You need a flashlight that shakes, I don't know what else to call them. I've also seen some that wind up. You can forget about batteries, they'll die out quickly.
Finally, start camping, start right away. Find a place near you and go out there with your family if you have one. Very soon you will realize how unprepared you are. You will make adjustments by learning how to live off the land. Get out there and if you can survive 2 weeks with only what is in your pack, with only what you can physically carry with you, then you MIGHT have a chance at surviving.

To clarify, having the scientifics waiting for your message is ridiculous. That's another timeline, the original. Since the very moment you arrived to 2010, you will create an alternative timeline where the message will be buried. It will not appear from nowhere as magic. It should be there from the very beginning, since 2010 until 2040 or when they finally decided to get it. When 2040 arrives, if you didn't change things around you too much since 2010, everything will happen more or less in the same way. Meaning, the scientifics will develop a protocol for communication, but then they will realize that the message must be there already, because it was done "before".

All the above means it's a infinite loop, meaning that a number of infinite times they sent you back, and an infinite number of times your buried that message, more or less in the same way if "you" was consistent with what they asked you to do.

What you say is that they didn't see any message before sending you back, they didn't even bother to look! That doesn't make any sense. It's like they ASSUMED it was the FIRST time, even when they should know that it could have happened "before" maybe billion of times!


I didn't read your toughts on this OP. Explain us why the scientists sent you back without looking for a buried message before.

I don't follow your logic about something happening a billion times before or alternative time lines. I don't think it works that way. As far as I understand it there is just the one time that we are all living in. It was not an infinite loop. Perhaps it is you who does not understand the true nature of time travel. If you survive another 30 years maybe you can goto the complex outside of Boulder and see for yourself. The scientists don't like answering questions though, so goodluck. If you are good with equations and computers maybe it will make sense to you. There were always a lot of equations on the computer screens.

My logic is pretty simple dude. You choose to don't understand it because you actually never thought about it before writing this sci-fi piece of garbage.

In some point in 2040, these scientists you mention should elaborate a communication protocol to know if a time traveler that was sent back was succesful. I mean, that's what you originally claimed, that you had to bury a message so they knew it worked when they discover that message.

Following the same logic, before sending you back in time to 2010, they should have checked the buried message, so they will be certain on the 100% success of what they're about to do, meaning, sending you back in time. It's a time loop dude, an infinite one, if in every iteration everything happens more or less in the same way, is logical and simple. But according what you claimed, they told you that the success rate was not 100%, and that percentage was based in previous experiments and was lower than that. The problem is they never told you what it was supposed, it means, that the rate was close to 100% because they already discovered the buried message. So, they sent you back, instructed you with a communication protocol to determine the success, but they didn't bother to look for the buried message BEFORE sending you back.

If you fail to see this simple loop, is, like I said, because you choose it, and that's pretty suspicious.

Let me tell you what I think. After some users in the previous threads starting to point several flaws in your story, you decided to disappear for awhile.

Now, that some time already passed, you come back looking for new people to accept what you have to say. I don't know why you're doing this, certainly you're not telling the truth, but maybe it's because somebody is passing you a check for this "job", or maybe just for fun, who knows...

If you fail to understand that without doing something, it can't happen, then I can't help you understand. According to your logic, if I understand you correctly, the scientists should have looked for a buried message before sending me back which would somehow prove that the mission would be successful. You fail to realize that the message that I buried for them to retrieve in 30 years, was planted by me. How could they look for a buried message if I had not been successfully delivered to 2010 to bury the message. The flaw in your logic is that you cannot have an effect without a cause. The other logic flaw is that you believe I am caught in some kind of loop. This is all ridiculous to me. It worked exactly the way I said it did.

I have been traveling, I wanted to make sure I could get across the border. After some talking with the kinder folks on here, I realized that crossing the border into Canada might be more difficult than I first thought. Considering I have no passport.

Everything that I have stated is how I remember it. I will accept that some memories may not be complete, mostly due to my age at the time. However there are other memories that are crystal clear. When everything happens as I have stated, in 2 years time, are you prepared to come back here and offer your apology?

It is some kind of a time lock combination that allows access to the facility. The scientist had to enter the combination a few times into the door before it accepted. Because he entered it too slowly and it changed.

If anyone is familiar with a device like this, please let me know. It was all black, had a readout with 6 or 8 numbers on it. It constantly changes numbers I would say every 5 seconds. Somebody here must be familiar with this technology. I had never seen it before or since.

The device was in use by the Military. So anyone who is in the Military might have a better chance of having seen one of these small devices before.

I'll explain this ALL OVER again.

There are two possibilites as I see it.

The first one is that there's not a "first time" per se. The second one is that in fact, as you claim, there's a first time in everything, meaning, a first time they sent you back, a first time you bury a message after ariiving, and so on...

Even when we can consider the second alternative, a loop will happen with a high grade of probability.

Let's asume there is a first time they sent you back. After you arrive, you do as instructed and you bury a message. What's the purpose of that message, according to you? To let the scientists know in some point in 2040 (or maybe some time before) that the experiment was succesful. Whatever it is, after the times passes from now until 2040, they will uncover that message, I mean, that's why you was instructed in first place isn't?

Then, the loop starts. How? Well, it's simple. When 2040 arrives, "you" (I mean, the one who is a baby now) will be choosed to participate in this experiment and will be sent back in time to 2010. Now, after you arrives (again) and if you procede as was instructed, you'll post "here", will bury the message (also again) and everything will happen more or less in the same way. Now, can you see the loop now?

Now think on this: There are two possibilites, one is that it's indeed the "first" time (I don't think "Time" works that way, but just to follow your theory) and the other one is that it's just a random event in the INFINITE loop that comes after the "first" time.

So, why your scientists assumed, since they didn't bother to search your buried message before sending you back, that this was the first time, when ALL the odds indicate that there is an extremely HIGH probability that it's not a "first" time but that this event happened in fact several times "before"? I mean you know what INFINITE means isn't?

Are you getting this, where your story flaw is? Are you going to apologize for this hoax now?
