FYI "the beautiful Koran" they're selling us in the US is the "1.0" version - the extremists are on the "3.0" version. there is a law in islam that Muhammad's more recent (violent) rules overrule the old ones. And the other rule where Muhammad said (basically) "Yes, it's perfectly OK [and recommended, in most cases] to lie to non-muslims"

I quoted that ......for educational purposes. :)

also, because half of you believe in a liberal conspiracy "out ta-get-cha". you also probably believe that bush orchestrated 9-11, and that aliens are running the government.

How are we going to get our women into those bee keeper outfits and stone them to death if someone rapes them unless we sell Islam to school kids? s226

Seriously though, Islam itself isn't an evil religion. However, there are more than just a couple of nuts running around pushing the nuttiest portions of it that result in some horrendous abuses. People should be educated to understand the difference in various factions of Islam, Christianity, ect.

big words from a texan, ahahaha. go back to reading your actual biased information, and call it "education" for your kids. then stuff your face with more chemical steaks and pertaters like the rest of your overweight state.

when your kids grow up to be cavemen like the broke ass pakis or afghanis, I can laugh at your face and tell them that "god wants you to be an idiot, your parents just enforce it"

whats the difference between those and teaching children that the earth was created in 6 days by magic and dinosaur blood?

what you call sharia law is already here in the usa, its called christians. passing laws aimed at degrading peoples and taking away rights has already been in progress thanks to jesus freaks in the government...thus sharia law.

Re: Texas school board to ditch pro-Islam textbooks
Aside of any feasible argument, what really do you expect from as bible belt state? States such as Texas has no tolerance for this Islam mojo being shoved down there throats......and they obviously are not skeered.

Anyone who wants to learn about Islam can do so on their own free will...I honestly believe NO religions should exist in text books....except in short reference to certain matters. In reality, it is up to the parents to educate their children on this matter. If you are a believer, then you are instructed to teach your children as family is the first ministry of a devoted "Christian"...We are to teach our children certain things ..it is not up the the system to do so. This goes for any religion.....if we implement Islam ...Christianity, then we must do the same for Hindi, Shamanism, Buddhism and Scientology....assuming we give these people a voice to change what our country was founded on....this is actually becoming quite a mess ...and I can see where the idea of one world religion would begin to surface.

But the Muslims say their koran hasn't changed since Mohammed dictated it to his harem.

it's not the RELIGION but the MESSAGE that is violent. Wether passively conquoring the world via outbreeding the infidels to gain the MAJORITY or actively via VIOLENCE, all muslims believe that because it's what Mohammid preached.

Either way they win in Islamnation every country
