The Eight Veils

What I think happens in terms of exchanging knowledge/understanding between the “veils” is something like this...

If a person, say person A, is at a higher level of awareness/knowledge/understanding than another, say person B, this person B has a very hard time to understand person A.

Eventually, that person B will completely misunderstand what person A may say. Person B simply can’t “see” what person A “sees” since he/she has no basis for that. He/She will always understand something based on his/her level of awareness/knowledge/understanding.

This is so because we learn by steps with the level of awareness/knowledge/understanding of each previous step being the base for the awareness/knowledge/understanding of the next.

In our example, person B can only understand something based only on his/her actual level of knowledge, his/her frame of reference, from what he/she already knows.

If person B tries to understand something at a higher level (person A) with the knowledge/understanding from a lower level (person B), person B will only get a distorted understanding because in his/her mind he/she doesn’t have the building blocks of awareness/knowledge/understanding of the next level but only those of his/her present awareness/knowledge/understanding level.

Similarly, unless person A lowers his/her conceptual references/ explanations/definitions to the exact level of awareness/knowledge/understanding of person B - and this can always be done by the fact we learn in steps with the next level always built from the previous one - the person A can even try to make person B understand something till his/her face turns blue that he/she will not succeed.

The sense transmitted in the text is so much amazing because the author is not talking about simple knowledge like in the educational system or like in an interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge. A mathematician can always understand a biologist and a biologist an architect because they have some common ground where they can interact. Nor is that all difficult for a sociologist to learn to build a bridge. It only requires time and effort to learn.

In the case of the “veils” the separation can be total. With no meeting points unless by the downing of those on upper levels.

That is why this text can be so much helpful to both ways: to those who need to look up and to those who also need to look down. Although I suspect only the last ones may really feel embraced with this essay.

How many will understand that this last sentence is not just a figure of speech?

Excellent! At least I understand why people look at me like I´m nuts sometimes.

The view when one stands at 10,000 feet on a 14,000 foot mountain is different than the view one has at the base. Same mountain, just difference in altitudes.

This essay can feel like a sweet candy for some.

I read this before and was wondering if I would ever see it again. Its nice to read this.
This is how the world looks to the human who had pierced the last veil and seen what is behind the curtain. This description comes from the Tarot deck and is called the Hanged Man Image. This sums it up better than anything else I have ever read of one who is awakening and finding out things are not what he has been told...may you have peace on your path Theresa :)

THE HANGED MAN.

8 veils - good read. noticed the year it was written.

The message is to get off the wheel of suffering
or pleasure,but 3 density is a bitch.

Most people are sleeping,will unfortunitly have
to repeat the grade,before they get it.


So unity or all is one,cant be grasped by most
entities. I am every man,and every man is me.
