Anonymous Coward User ID: 1117791 United States 10/03/2010 02:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I had a dream a week ago that I could not wake up from. I could even hear alarm going off in background while I was still dreaming. In the dream I kept saying I had to go but I couldn't wake up. I was in a crowd of people and they were hanging onto me. When I finally did wake up, according to the clock, the alarm had been going off for 20 minutes. I have had a hard time going to sleep since. Creepy. |

He didn't know he was Zhuangzi. Suddenly he woke up and there he was, solid and unmistakable Zhuangzi. But he didn't know if he was Zhuangzi who had dreamt he was a butterfly, or a butterfly dreaming he was Zhuangzi. Between Zhuangzi and a butterfly there must be some distinction! Are you awake now...or are you dreaming? |

Our minds will play-out situations that are Real and Happening in our daley lives. Our Dreams turn these Real situations into, "DREAM METAPHORS". The Crowd of People hanging on to you, "Probably" was a metaphour for your "Responsibilities". Your dream DID NOT represent DEATH trying to pull you or keep you in a Dream. Sleep easy tonight......... YOU just might NOT WAKE-UP....... .......... |

Do You Want To Know MORE User ID: 1117937 Australia 10/03/2010 03:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No that's not the reason, the dream is only a reflection of what your body is feeling, what happens is that an old feeling comes up, where you re experience a birth primal, that overwhelms you physically and causes you to die. It usually happens early in the morning when serotonin. Levels are low and defenses are weak because of this.. Quoting: Anon 857220I have no idea why , but this sounds true to me, very enlightening thank you. |
Dr. House User ID: 717743 United States 10/03/2010 07:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not too many young people die in their sleep. Lots of old folk do, and the reason being is that during the process of sleep your body is 'turned off' by the brain. In young people this only affects voluntary muscle movements, such as moving your leg or your arm. If your brain didn't do that you would be all over the place, living out whatever you are dreaming. The older we get the greater the chance that the brain will shut off involuntary muscles, those being the ones that promote breathing or the heart. So you can imagine what happens when the heart stops beating and the lungs are not taking up oxygen. "Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him." (1 John 3:15, NKJV). |
