this is just one of several incidents like this that happened in dallas recently . the son of the dallas police chief shot and killed another man and a lancaster police man on fathers day . in another incident two dallas police officers beat a suspect they chased on a motorcycle with clubs and one of the officers turned the video camera away from the scene so it wouldn't be recorded . in another incident a off duty female dallas officer was arrested for drunk driving and discharged her firearm ( she had in a leg holster) in the patrol car almost causing her colleges to shoot her . most of these officers have been fired and the more serious ones have been indicted . Needless to say I don't go to dallas and if i do never at night.

Assault IS a serious charge in Texas. If he's convicted (can't imagine he won't be...just being PC) he'll be in prison with men he helped put there. DPS won't tolerate this...they mostly have a very good reputation...and work hard to keep it.
