Because even more people have exhausted their benefits.
Claims fall when you are not allowed to claim anymore.

It's all BS Op, all BS.

P.S. Even if you are have been on unemployment for months or even 1 yr. Each quarter you have to re-claim, making it a new claim. That's why this is BS. I know cause I was un unemployment for 1 1/2 yrs.

NEW jobless claims. WTH does that always seem to get left off? Makes it sound like there are only 445,000 unemployed in the country.

Re: >> Breaking << Weekly U.S. jobless claims fall 11,000 to 445,000
that statement is a little deceiving....there are still 445,000 new people who filed a new claim....yeah its down 11,000 from before, but that means there are now 445k new unemployed people on top of those already getting it....thats a huge increase not a decrease.....am i missing something.?
