Alhiemer's is herpes in the brain with an underlying mycoplasma infection. Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 under the tongue and glutahione will also work.

Most of the pharma for chronic disease only helps with the symtoms. The underlying cause of chronic disease is poor nutrition.

As people age they lose the ability to absorb vitamin B12, and the ability to make vitamin D. Both are critical to the immune system.

If something as cheap as coconut oil might help people it would be great. My grandparents went that way, not good!

Like I said, My grandparents had problems like this and I suspect my mother is pretty close. Fortunately I have a radically different diet and life attitude then most of my family, I don't worry, except for them.

People ESPECIALLY family members can be very opinionated about these things. It's hard to show elements of natural truth, the unwilling helpers. They want to do good, but CAN'T quite break out of the toolbox.

It's kept my dog, with kidney failure, doing well for two months.

Coconut oil is AMAZING. I buy a half gallon of it every few months from Nutiva online. There brand is great as it is organic. Coconut is antibacterial and antiviral AND antifungal so it treats so many things. I use it on my skin, hair, and take it internally. It also helps me keep my weight down. Look up coconut oil and weight loss. It really works. I was coming down with the flu a few weeks ago and took coconut oil with orange juice. Two tablespoons in the juice before every meal just like it says to do in The Coconut Oil Miracle book. The flu was bad for the first two days and then totally gone by the 3rd day! I was amazed. It really worked. Normally when I would get that sick I would be sick for a week or longer.

I had no idea it was good for Alzheimer's. That's wonderful news.

I think the pharmaceutical companies hate coconut oil. They have to.

There were some studies done several decades ago that showed that saturated fats, including coconut oil, had a bad effect on cardiovascular disease. Unfortunately, all those studies were done with artificially hydrogenated coconut oil, and we know today that hydrogenation (which produces more saturation and which also creates trans fats) is really the culprit.

Those studies were back in the days when oils weren't well understood in medical science

So there really are no valid cardiovascular studies done with virgin coconut oil, so far as I know.

I Love coconut oil, i use it on my skin after a shower, on bug bites and a friend of mine that has egzema and it helps him, does it as treatment twice a week.

Coconut oil is the ONLY way to properly enjoy popcorn.

Try it once. You'll never look at a $7 bag of movie theater popcorn the same again.
