and it is why I say, choose this day whom you will serve.........easy answer. pick one.

Because as history shows, if you don't choose the "Good Christian Way," they WILL eventually kill you.

Jesus says as much, "bring a sword."

No difference here between that and "convert or die."

Which one was the "religion of peace" again?

blessings to you, I do love you.

YHVH ~ *the* Creator
Proverbs 30: 4 Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands?
Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is his name, and the name of his son?
Tell me if you know!
5 "Every word of God is flawless;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
6 Do not add to his words,
or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

Fire, which corresponds to Yod, the first letter of the tetragrammaton, also corresponds to the soul of humanity, the element of spirituality which resides within us. This element motivates us to strive for exalted degrees of consciousness and action, and it motivates us to become close to the Divine. Positively, the qualities of Fire manifest as will, inspiration, nobility of deeds, and the motivation and power to achieve honor, prestige, dominion and leadership. Negatively, these last qualities become pride, egotism, despotism, and tyranny, as opposed to deserved authority. In a literal sense, Fire is the provider of warmth and light, but uncontrolled is the most destructive of the elements.
Water corresponds to Heh, the second letter of the Tetragrammaton, and corresponds to the desires of humanity, the passions which shape and direct the will towards specific ends and goals. This concept is most obviously manifest as human emotions. Alone, the element of water is barren; life did not manifest in seawater without the catalysts of heat and light, which are the qualifies of the element of Fire.
Obversely, when brought to bear on the element of Fire, Water becomes very powerful and important. Fire, in and of itself, is very chaotic and amorphous, It is the qualities of Water that make it possible to contain and control fFire. Without these “watery” qualities, Fire would run rampant in a destructive rage and then burn itself out. It is Desire (water) which shapes, sustains, and directs the Will (Fire) towards practical ends. Thus, Fire and Water are interdependent for any creative act. This fact is the basis of their relationship to the Tetragrammaton.
Air corresponds to Vav, the third letter of the Tetragrammaton, and also to human intellect. The powers of analysis and synthesis, which constitute the intellect, are the abilities to break down a subject into its basic component in order to understand its structure and purpose, and then to reconstruct these components into something new, and better. Thus, Air represents the qualities of reason and rationality. Positively, these are directed towards constructive applications and new inventions. But devoide of the creative guidance of the qualities of Fire andWater, intellect, as the power of division, becomes a very destructive force. It has been seen that devoid of higher ideals, science, laws, and politics become – at best – sterile of any worth or meaning. Unfortunately, the worst is more often manifest as war, pollution, infringement of basic human rights, and weapons technology that has advanced far beyond our ability to rationally control, much less use.
Earth, the final Heh of the Tetragrammaton, manifests in humanity as the physical body, as well as that which is needed to sustain the body, such as food and shelter. Earth is also the literal earth, the soil in which our food grows, as well as the globe which is the home and environment of the human community. Like Water, Philosophic Earth is barren and sterile in and of itself. Its value is completely dependent on how it expresses and is influenced by *higher* elelments. I.e., the actions of the human body can only be judged and evaluated according to how well they express or effect the spiritual will (Fire), the passions (Water) and or the intellect (Air).
YHVH, most often pronounced as Yahweh is the English transliteration of the Tetragrammaton. It’s in the old Testament 6,823 times. Why don’t’ we see it? Because the English translators replaced the Most High’s name with God, Lord or Jehovah, or a number of other names.
My Savior’s given Hebrew name is Yeshua. The angel of YHVH told Joseph to give Mary’s baby a name that meant “he [YHVH] shall save his people” (Matt. 1:21). “He saves” is precisely what Yeshua means. Strong’s concordance tells us that Yeshua means “to save”. Yehoshua is a combination of Yahweh and yasha. Yeshua, the contraction of Yehoshua, means “He [Yahweh] saves.”
He Son inherited an excellent name from His Father: “Let them praise the name of YHVH, for his name alone is excellent.” Ps: 148:13
He {Yeshuah} hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name (Hebrews 1:4) The Son could only inherit from His Father what His Father Himself possessed.
YHVH is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation {Yeshua}; he is my God (Ex. 15:2)
If YHVH’s Hebrew name had been left intact in the Bible, it would be much more difficult to deny the deity of Yeshua, and of YHVH Himself.
Yeshua ~ by, in and through His NAME ~ does not describe what some man, prophet, or another god is doing. His Name expresses what YHVH *THE* GOD of gods, the great I AM, Immanuel, God with us ~ is doing !!
Love is a state of Being. Your love is not outside; it is deep within you. You can never lose it, and it cannot leave you. You can feel the same life deep within every other human and every other creature. You look beyond the veil of form and separation. This is the realization of oneness. This is love. What is God? The Eternal One Life underneath all the forms of life. What is love? To feel the presence of that One Life deep within yourself and within all creatures. To be it. Therefore, all love is the love of God.

Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret of life is to die before you die - and find that there is no death.

I used to be like you - troll threads like these - ridicule and make some of the same arguements against YHWH's Law, Feasts etc. - what I didn't realize is that the seeds of truth were being planted. The very fact that you are still reading this thread tells me that your heart is opening up, regardless of the words you post - the seed has been planted.

Re: ~*~*I Keep/Guard the 7th Day Sabbath...Ask Me A Question*~*~
"fulfill" discussion snipped for length

The biggest problem with this discussion, and I've kind of tried to stay out of it... is that it's being yanked out of context.

Sorry, this is a pet peeve of mine. Christians get bent out of shape when anyone else does it, but they feel so totally free to do it themselves.

The disciples are asking about the end times. They are specifically, and without any possibility of misinterpretation, asking about the FINAL coming of JESUS, NOT about Jesus' death on the cross.

They are asking about the end times.

Jesus says he didn't come to abolish, but to fulfill.

The FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW is the SECOND coming of Jesus, the END OF DAYS.

Jesus says that not a jot or a tittle will pass away until ALL IS FULFILLED and he is speaking unquestionably and without a doubt about THE END TIMES.

Now, I'm sorry, but how the heck does the argument of "fulfill" and its EXACT usage per that passage really relate to anything?

It does NOT, because they're discussing THE END TIMES.

No doubt, it DOES mean abolish, end, etc.

Because the end of time has a strange effect of ending things, wouldn't you think?

chuckle
 Quoting: Sandi_T

Matthew was not penned in English.

Fulfill never occurs in the text and was added by biased christian translators trying to get around Matthew 5-7 and conform it to Pauline theology.

The Hebrew Matthew reiterates the prophets, who said Messiah would magnify and make the Torah honorable to keep.

You are correct though in that there are hundreds of prophecies left to "Fulfill"

Sadly the Scribes and christian translators are more interested in promoting their pagan sun god worship religion then the truth.

It is much like how the Messiah promised to throw RELIGIOUS people into the pit in chapter 7 for being negators of the Torah and being without Torah, and the moronic translators covered it up with "iniquity".

The entire delusion is then run on christians who do not even realize Christianity did not even exist until 300+ years later, and the delusion is effective because christians are to lazy to read the Scriptures.

By "you people", I'm referring to those that seem to detest anyone that says believers should be obedient. IE; "The Body of Christ".

As for my being "neither hot nor cold" I presume this is some veiled shot at me utilizing a horribly misplaced scriptural quote. Surprise, surprise, yet another example of someone twisting a biblical numbered sound byte to play the "my method of playing religion is superior to yours" garbage.

Honestly, guys, just as I don't expect nor demand you folks to explain why you defiantly "worship God MY way instead of HIS way". After a while, it gets real old "defending myself" ... my beliefs and method of exercising my methods of worship are WELL documented.

It's like telling a 4 year old there is no Santa.

Although, of course, I now expect several to jump in and say I'm possessed, since I don't claim that it's the bible's god doing it.

I'm certain they will. While you and I don't see eye to eye in our beliefs/paradigms ... I've sensed more of a "god-like" nature in you than the VAST majority of the wanna-bes I'm forced to deal with in these threads day after day.

I suspect that one day, you might feel the call of the Tribes yourself. If not, I suspect you're still being used for His work.

I have a lot of personal respect for many Christians.

On the one hand, I do see generalized behaviors. On the other hand, I have to say that there are always exceptions.

And as far as the call of God goes, it's been interesting and even moving to watch you seek, and then find.

It's not for me to choose your path, you and God must find that together. For if it is not personal, then it's not real.

I often fail to understand why God guides certain people's feet in specific directions. But when I look deeper, I often find that the reasons are there, they are personal to that person, and they are amazing and perfect.

God will meet you where you are. Your needs are met by the spiritual path you're taking, and I honor that. I don't have to agree with the religion or even the holy book you've chosen, for me to recognize a genuine walk into the arms of God.

As far as returning to that religion. I doubt I ever will. In any form, really. I don't discredit the possibility, but it doesn't speak to my heart or my soul.

I find myself mellowing in the last few months. As if some deep thing inside me has finally found a way to be free. In some ways, I have you to thank for that.

You encouraged me to write. You did so out of a place of love.

In writing, I unleashed a beast... but it was a beast that needed to be free. Because nothing should be caged and beaten. It needed to see the light of day, and it needed to be accepted and even embraced.

With each passing wave of the pain of that, I am finding myself growing steadily calmer and more peaceful.

Meh, I suppose I could have PM'd that to you, but there you have it anyway.

I have some deep, deep anger that is finally passing away. Not without a struggle, but it is on its way out.

Now I'm finding that the real problem I have isn't really anger, as much as habit of speaking that are "angry" when I am not necessarily so.

Nene~ the seed has been planted and I can see that your heart is opening up.

phydoe~ I'm not surprised by the ops behavior.actually her predictability helps to point out her own irrationality.

You have a tendency to lash out at people and it is therefore easy to get good people to distance themselves from you on this thread and well into the future.

Thank you Sandi for including this in the thread instead of sending it by PM. It is the testimony of your own unique walk. And it serves as a reminder that a thread on a discussion forum doesn't have to be filled with constant debate, which is glorified arguing for argument's sake and proving you are right and the other wrong.

I am so glad you joined the thread and even more so that you have stuck around.

Peace and Blessings to you.

Right. Because the 'sword' is about "spiritual" matters, and there have been ZERO wars or killing in the name of this religion.

You can disagree all you want, but it's there in black and white, and the proof is in the history in this case.

It has brought wars, and famines, and genocides through its long and brutal history.

Division is EXACTLY what it's all about. It sets humanity away from God. It sets families apart from each other. It destroys and even abolishes other cultures, much less dividing them.

But even pretending it means 'sword' and dividing of families in the "spiritual" sense, it was, let's be honest here, heartbreakingly prophetic in a very REAL and PHYSICAL sense.
 Quoting: Sandi_T

There are those who wish to take up the stake (cross) and follow in the Messiah's footsteps, and there are others who wish to follow in the footsteps of the Romans and crucify others.

When someone states a belief and then does the opposite action, the action weighs heavier than the words. There is more value in actions than words, because actions are proof (or disproof) of those words. That is what it means to justify something via faith. Righteous faith is a belief + an action.

However, the division is necessary. You say the division of the Messiah's name sets us apart from YHWH. The problem is we already ARE apart from YHWH. We chose to be apart from him and to disregard his commands. We CHOSE to be apart of a human government. And we chose to worship other gods and idols. All these things already separated us from YHWH long ago.

But back to my original point - the division is necessary because words rarely match up with actions. Everyone pleads innocent before a judge. Thus, the only way to judge whether someone is lying or not isn't by what they say - it is through evidence.

Likewise, on the Day of YHWH - everyone will plead innocent. Everyone will claim to have a "personal relationship" with the Messiah, thus there must be some way to divide between those who say they are innocent and those who did what was innocent. That evidence is in our fruits (actions of the soul).

My point is people will claim everything in the name of YHWH and His Son, but that doesn't make it right. Division of good fruit and bad fruit is necessary, because bad fruit always spoils good fruit and never the other way around.

P.S. I unintentionally sound angry when I type too. But I'm pretty unemotional, so I view things differently in my mind when I read it. For future reference, if I ever do post angry, it will be full of sarcasm and condescension.

Mankind in his fallen nature is so susceptiple to the whisperings of the dark forces as well....secrets long ago taught by the watchers, teaching the arts of war and weaponry... knowing the destruction that would come, disuniting mankind from each other, and further distancing him from his Creator.

Re: ~*~*I Keep/Guard the 7th Day Sabbath...Ask Me A Question*~*~
Sorry, but there's no way we're going to find parity on this. God is ever present, in all things, around all things, through all things.

Nothing would exist without the presence of God.

Therefor, it is simply impossible for us to be separated from God-- no matter how we choose to behave or believe.

If you were separated from God, you wouldn't exist. Same for everyone.

And there will be no "judgment day" when we're all going to be split up like kids in a schoolyard, "you're on MY team, you're on SATAN'S team, but I like you so you can be on MINE..."

God is love.

None of what you speak of, speaks of love. It smacks of human behavior, not divine.

That's the bottom line problem with the monster-god of the bible. He's FAR TOO HUMAN for me to ever believe he's real or divine!!

 Quoting: ZTE

And there are those who are being taught to follow in the footsteps of the Romans while claiming the name of Christ.

**********************************************************
Last week a beautiful young woman, age 15, hung herself. She had been taunted relentlessly by a group of kids for an extended period of time. Her "crime"? She was a lesbian. The day after the suicide, her taunters, upon learning of it, laughed and said she deserved it. They were expelled from school. Who were her taunters? White, middle class to upper middle class Christians. Who taught them to taunt the lesbian? Their parents? Their pastor or priest?

************************************************************

Earlier this year, an unmarried couple was brought separately before the church. Their "crime"? Fornication. The man was treated with sympathy "because he just couldn't help his male urges". The female stood there feeling naked and exposed. As she stood there trembling, tears steaming down her cheeks, her eyes searched the crowd for a friend, but she could almost see the stones in their hands and could nearly hear the words the Messiah heard ,"Crucify! Crucify!"

************************************************************

Of note, at the same church as mentioned above, just a few months earlier, the pastor stood his own daughter and her fiance' in front of the church to announce their engagement. He went on and on about how proud he was to be gaining this man as a son-in-law. The pastor's wife spent the next 4 months talking incessantly about her little girl's wedding. Several months later, it was discovered that the man was still married at the time of the engagement announcement (divorce final 2 months after the announcement and the wedding was 2 months and 1 week after that). Members of the church decided to dig deeper and discovered that the affair began while his wife was still in the home and this man was bragging on his facebook about going to see the pastor's daughter and "watch the magic happen". So, it is okay for the pastor's daughter to be a homewrecker, but all others should be damned to hell.

************************************************************

I have many other examples I could share of what CHURCH is and does. I just may share more later.

I hope this helps to explain why I do not call myself a "christian". They are nothing like my Messiah. They are the Romans casting lots for our garments while they watch us bleed.

I may disagree with some of you, sometimes quite strongly. BUT...I do not call for your blood nor damn you to hell for your beliefs. My desire is to strip the Romanism out and point to the Pure Word of YHWH. I humbly admit that my emotions get the best of me, but those who actually know me could give you my testimony by how they see me live every single day, even if I never spoke or typed another word. When I get it wrong, I go to YHWH is prayer and seek His guidance.

Re: ~*~*I Keep/Guard the 7th Day Sabbath...Ask Me A Question*~*~
A dear friend's brother remains (months later) in the hospital, beaten severely by christians for being a gay man.

The people who abused me the worst? Baptists... AND SATANISTS. Because Satanists ALSO are bible believers. Christians forget this in their loathing. They were considered to be DEVOUT, FUNDAMENTALIST BAPTISTS. But they were part of a government operation and they raped children in brutal, unspeakable ways.

Then the people who were to "damage control" me? They were Seventh Day Adventists. It was their job to shut me up by exorcising me for the natural spiritual gifts I had, until I learned to live in terror of people finding out about them.

There are multitudes of examples, those are just some direct personal ones for me.

I know WELL the "christian mindset," and I remember pushing people to "get saved" and the constant psychological agony I lived with because I would fail to save someone and all I could see was them burning forever. It literally haunted me.

This is one simple example of the psychological terrorism of christianity, and one of many reasons I oppose it adamantly.
