what are some good things to do if you dont know what to do... and dont have much money and dont know where to go even tho your getting hammered in your home town?

It would depend on your age. You sound kind of young. You probably don't have anywhere to plant a garden, do you? Growing your own food is a good way to disconnect from the system. If you can, grow a single tomato plant in a coffee can. Anything like that will get you started.

Instead of getting a "job", do things that you have fun doing and that other people might enjoy, and then sell or rent or entertain for cash. Doing what you like to do keeps you from becoming a "wage slave". Avoid the money-grubbing mentality.

Study things that interest you. The Internet is full of stuff that you can follow until you know everything about it. This will keep you from joining the "dumbing down" crowd.

Have fun. Sing out loud. Dance whenever you feel like dancing. Try to imitate chirping birds that you hear. Smile and say "hi" to everybody that you see. This will keep you from being a robot, shuffling along with its eyes staring at the ground.

Do you get it?

I do have a garden actually, it got kinda beat up from a week of rain but theres still some veggies growing. The other advice is really good, I sometimes do start exercising and reading a lot but then I end up in a funk agian- i got years of depression and conditioning under my belt.. I just gotta keep trying i guess- thanks for taking the time to reply i appreciate it.

You're welcome. I inspired myself to get up and start singing!
