No, it was Sydney that opened it and sent it vertical for 5 bucks or so (which is jack in the big scheme).

Hk and Shanghai open 2 hours after the spot market opens.

What will be exciting is when the paper markets disengage from the actual metals market.

The problems will be in what happens in conjunction to this.

I know the system is inherently negative to the average person right now, but we will all experience pain at that time.

feds in usa purchased 1.4 trillion of foreclosed defunct mortgages, inflating the money supply at least this much...plans are to go again for 1.9 trillion or so...the plan is already done...after the election, the 2nd buyout will proceed...hedge against currency...massive printing going on...with the fed buying all the debt...china won't!

Isn't that a freakin' hoot? Government says "no social security cola increase because there is no inflation." Meanwhile PM increases by 14% in 4 months time, i.e., dollar loses another 14 cents of its meager value.

Same 'enthusiasm' as in the housing market. The bubble will burst. Take advantage of the high price and sell. Gold/silver only go so high against inflation. They are both well past those levels.
