Did you get the tooth crowned? If they just filled it maybe it is too high and that is why it is uncomfortable. To answer your question...I have had teeth removed that were root canaled, both crowned and filled. The dentist said the root canal failed. Whatever...if it was a long time ago probably needs to go bye bye. If it is recent I would say maybe it just needs the filling adjusted.

Either way...I feel for you. Been there and done that.

If you can afford it, yes. You pretty much need your teeth to eat OP. Unless you'd prefer the liquid diet.

I've had 3 root canals. 1 was very infected. I had to see 2 specialists.

The dentists push this same "perspective," because they're not taught the truth. Most are too stupid to ever discover the truth on their own.

(didn't show up on x-rays) and a conduit for bacteria.

definitly.... root canals cause many diseases due to that tiny gap that fills with bacteria... that travels throughout the body.... it is better to have it pulled and get a fake tooth....

im 32 male 6ft 2 205lb ,root canal done oct 09.2-3 months before RC start grending teeth, losing hair,had anxiety attack never had before. after RC I have pain on the same side as the root canal, in my jaw,neck ,back , hip knee ,headaches(never before), felt depressed foggy mind.
so i have called many biological holistic dentist most time i get dental assistant and they get a lot of calls like mine & most people get better after removal.also called dr boyd haley(se below) we talked 15min he explained how he tested what he found and said definitely effect hair growth.
i pretty sure after 9mo of reading this shit i want this tooth out

They can implant replacement teeth now for about 4G's but most insurance doesn't cover it. If ya got $4000 bucks to spend, away it goes. I had one pulled last year that had a root canal and didn't replace it because of no insurance. It is way in the back so no one can tell. Best of luck!

I would get it taken out immediately. Infection will set in , your other teeth will become affected and your health is not worth it. I have experienced this on a personal level and would never again allow a dentist to do a root canal on my teeth.

yeah I got three bridges and got rid of 5 root canals.
My ears stopped ringing among other weird symptoms all gone now!

No, hang on to that tooth base as long as you can. Would you have an implant of foreign stuff? Save your teeth at all costs. Ask your dentist what's wrong. He should guarentee his work. Seriously, buy a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and swish that stuff in your mouth for at least 5 minutes, 3 x a day. If not better after a few days then root canal it.
