What if the 'little people' (The Irish call them the 'Wee People') of myth, fairies, leprechauns, brownies, etc are actually aliens and were interpreted as being these other 'races' that are no longer seen on earth? Considering folk accuse ET of being short, gray 'exotic' looking wee folk, there would be a strong possibility that the two are related.
