Raise your hand if you're an Armstronger or SDA....
Yep, I thought so.

I was in WCG for over 21 years, then the lights came on when I read Classic Christianity by Bob George. Do your self a favor and read it. HWA was a fraud and it's easily provable.
 Quoting: In-Situ

Basically a seventh-day Baptist + feast days. Still right about the ten commandments. Not much else. He was the first one who told me this Bible truth. Then went to other CoG, then SDA, then out of all denominations. They are all compromised. However if the new Christian knows nothing about the Bible they can learn from these denominations. Then at some point they will know more than that denomination, and move on, as myself and others did.

Jesus was baptized by John. Who knew more about God?

People do not understand on this thread about the real truth. The law was given to the lawless and to manifest sin. Sin comes because we were given the law, without the law there would be no sin. The law was given to show us how sinful we are and that we need someone to save us. No one can be saved by observing the law. Israel couldn't, the disciples couldn't, the prophets couldn't, no one can! No one can be justified by the law. Israel was actually given the "wrong thing" when God gave them the law, the bible says that. No one, not one single person has or ever will keep the Law. That is the point of giving us the Law!To how how abolutely sinful we are!

Paul was the greatest person to be given to the church. He was the one person who came to understand the real truth. Contrary to some people on here that have said the horrible things about Paul that they have, shame on you!

It is no longer anything about the Law anymore but it is about circumsizing the heart of man. Grace and truth comes by Jesus Christ. Grace establishes the Law. It's now about being baptised by the Holy Spirit which why Jesus came. John the Baptist constantly said that he baptised with water but one is coming after him that will baptise with fire.

Since grace establishes the law we probably will do some of the law in the 1,000 year reign but not because we have to do it to be saved but rather because grace establishes the law. In other words, we will celebrate the feasts in the 1,000 year reign but not because we have to celebrate it to save us, but because it's God's holy law.

... when Melchizedek met Abram, Levi was still in the body of his ancestor. Hebrews 7:10

I tell you the truth, Jesus answered, before Abraham was born, I AM! John 8:58

Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take it; this is my body. Mark 14:22
... do this in remembrance of me. Luke 22:19

The Greek of the Hebrews passage uses "one could even say", meaning "so to speak". In other words, it is not to be taken as a literal statement. Otherwise you'd have to think that sperm are complete human beings. And even if you dismiss all that, it raises an even bigger problem for those who wish to remain under the law: If Levi paid it through Abram, then so also did all the ancestors of Abram. So why would anyone at all need to tithe then?

There is also the fact that Abram did this exactly once, and on the spoils of a battle.

What the statements of Jesus being the I AM have to do with lawkeeping, only you can say.

What is this "problem" you keep referring to? Honestly, how dare you claim that obedience is some kind of insult and a bad thing.

I do not obtain any salvation by obedience. However, there is more to serving than just salvation.

Personally, I find that to take all the words of the Messiah and toss them out of the window in favor for Paul because he offers an easier path is an insult to the sacrifice given, but that's just me.

See, there's one big difference between you and I: I couldn't give two shits if you obey or not. That's between you and the Elohim.

You, on the other hand, seem to be real offended that I do not worship MY god YOUR way. This is MY relationship and I'll obey whatever the hell I want to obey, thank you very much. If you're offended that I uphold Torah, that's YOUR problem, not mine or any one else's.

Jesus of course, John refused to baptize Him, but Jesus told Him to.

I was in WCG too, for about 10 years, till they split. Yes, they had God and a lot of teachings but not Jesus, yet God said obey Him (Jesus). All the teachings is hay and stubble and will be burnt. See to it how you build Jesus said and make sure your salvation is built on the solid rock, Jesus Christ and not doctrines of men. Coming to Christ God wants us to be Christlike and become cleansed and changed.

The danger with knowledge is it puffs up and instead of drawing others to Christ we lecture them on our knowledge and become like the pharisees when Jesus said:

Matthew 23:13
"What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people's faces. You won't go in yourselves, and you don't let others enter either.

Jesus is the way, the law is good and holy and shows you are a sinner in need of Christ. Come to Him and He will change you from within with new desires from Him and help you live a new life pleasing to Him.

Can you stumble and sin, yes but if He lives in you you cannot continue in sin. "Lead us not into temptation"

No longer do we have to do animal sacrifices to receive blessings from God, no longer do we have to go to Jerusalem 3 times a year to be blessed, no longer do we have to keep the feasts to received blessings, we are blessed in Jesus Christ!

this co-creator spirit is rolling in its ark causing its ark to laugh at all the concepts ruling other co-creator spirits...this co-creator spirit doesnt give its authority away to concepts we all helped create...for we as the same spirit existed before the concepts were created..we were not created ,we have always existed and will always exist as concepts come and go and civilizations rise and fall into dust as our arks also do..hf..please leave the beasts/creations in the sea of forgetfulness and walk out again as spirit controlling its own ark and being responsible for its self,we being the spirit of Love..you can quote all the "bible" verses you like but they are all creations and its the spirit we must follow, not the creations..

How unfortunate for some rulers when men, women, and children continue to think... Keep repeating the lies loud enough and long enough and just maybe the people will start to believe the lies again and good luck with that...finding your energy open until mars becomes raging aries...
