Poland was divided among the USSR and Germany because it was previously protestant prussia. There are a couple of films at my blog.
[link to protocolhistory.webs.com]

Then, Finland was invaded by the USSR and Norway by Germany. All to destroy protestantism.

We are to believe ww2 was only about the nazis. Who put the nazis in power? The teutonic knights of the vatican. And who helped the war machine escape after the war? the vatican's rat lines. Where was the iron curtain? On the border of the old prussian kingdom.

The next interesting question is, since this is well known to many in poland, why didn't greg szymanski JD make this known to his listeners?

When I was in primary school, grade 5 (age approx 10) our teacher read us a true story about WWII and Warsaw.

There are many countries that we never learned about in School. In fact there are many countries that to this day I've never even heard of.

So the fact that I even know where Poland is and its involvement in world history tells me that the OP is wrong.

Andorra? Benin? Djibouti? Never freakin heard of them before today.

My grandfather was born in Pommern...in East Prussia...NOW part of Poland.

do you feel pain?

Pommern wasn't Polish. He spoke German. Learn your own history instead of whining because we don't bother with it.

Q: How did the Germans conquer Poland so fast?

A: They marched in backwards and the Polish thought they were leaving.

Because this country was founded when Columbus and his men arrived here, killed and enslaved the natives, then stole their land.

And the whole thing about them bringing African's over to be the white man's slave.

I read a book authored by a survivor of the Katyn Forest Massacre. Fifteen thousand Polish officers were captured by the Soviets, executed, and buried in mass graves. This heinous act was then blamed on the Nazi's. Only in recent years have we learned the truth.

God bless the Poles and their bravery.

Re: Sometimes , I have the impression that the West treats the history of my country as a taboo. Why?
I have wondered this myself.

Here are some ideas: Most of us here in the US are of British Isles, German, or other western European ancestry.

Our history books here pretty much concentrate on what was the old Roman Empire, and what became of it.

During the 1950s and 60s the old Soviet Union and satellite states were treated with mistrust and were largely a mystery to us.

Poland has a wonderful and fascinating history.

Decades ago the popular historical novelist James Michener wrote a magnificent novel (called simply "Poland") about your country from prehistoric times up to the 20th century.
 Quoting: goodmockingbird

This plus the fact that the German extermination camps in Poland make for a mistrusted and misunderstood nation.

it is a fascinating subject....

especially the Poland from 1569-1795....

Poland was a world leader then....

The French Revolution paved the way for Napoleon, but it is the collapse of Poland in 1795 that ultimately triggered the Napoleonic Wars....

Thank for OP to tell us intresting bits of history. Most of our past is politically "corrected" by victors and revinsionists. I visited in auschwitz concentration camp in 1989 and those sights behind those class vitrins with filled skulls, suitcases, poisoncans, etc with visitation to cremation house (place was still permeated with dull stank of charcoalburned bone) left me stark reminder what would have happened finns if we had given in demends that were coming league of nations members.
If you want some tidbits of history in northern front then you can find this interesting to read:
