Good Luck |

Quoting: icey ice 1132378if they did, they wouldn't have this problem ahhahahha Just sloppy code and poor compiler design do to legacy code. New compilers have been rewritten with security in mind and prevent buffer over runs in newer software. It is very expensive to rewrite, so companies only do so when a vulnerability is knowingly exploited. This ad-hocking will unfortunately continue until a total os rewrite is done. Nature of the beast and lazy programmers. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1007287 Belgium 10/18/2010 08:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If it's a a really bad virus, you can't get rid of it. It'll replicate and "hide" itself, changing it's name, erasing it's footprint, sending whatever it was programmed to when it has a connection... Buy a new harddrive, boot into safe mode, back up only what you have to onto a dvd or memory stick, and install the new hard drive. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 773668It's the only way to be sure, because some viruses get into the boot partition. so whatever you do to get rid of it is only a hindrance as it will return. :) Buy a new hard drive, boot into safe mode. |
