TSA Refuses Commercial Airline Pilot Access to his Plane | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1132001 United States 10/18/2010 07:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My point is the TSA is a window dressing Dog and Pony show unless 100% of the cargo you and you families are sitting above is screened. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 977055That my friends is the bottom line without the TSA bullshit. exactly. a good majority of the items that is sitting and being transported doesn't even get "screened"....mostly the cargo including shipping items. I once heard this "agent" say...if they had to screen each cargo item in ONE PLANE plus the checked bags, it would take more than a week for the plane to take off... eerie, eh? TSA is a TOTAL JOKE....got people acting like hamsters with all this "take your shoes off" mess.... |

Have you ever tried to reason with a 7 dollar an hour black screener? Quoting: 508527-------------------------------- yep all tsa employees are nearly brain dead over weight negroids. oh please! don't make this a "black/white" thing. I see lots of middle aged white screeners working for TSA along with mexicans and blacks (but strangely, I've yet to see an Asian TSA employee.) |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1128071 United States 10/18/2010 07:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As far as I am concerned, I have flown for the last time. I really don't care to support the airline industry anymore. I can't believe so many Americans put up with illegal search and seizure that is the T S A. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 777821Don't do that, that's exactly what they want. They are trying to hassel Americans to give up flying, then they will crack down further. Do you think they are going to stop at airports? They are not. Fight back, fly then when they try to put you through a naked radioactive body scanner raise a stink. Refuse to be groped. You are going to have to fight back eventually, start now while this shit is still in the beginning stages. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 977055The TSA workers all knew the pilot. This is about the power trip the TSA has become since 90% of the managers had fast food jobs before the TSA hired them. This was done for obvious reasons, since the TSA wanted the lower end of the IQ spectrum. His first mistake was not asking the screener for the TSA supervisor. As soon as you know they are violating your rights, stop everything and demand a TSA supervisor come to the checkpoint. TSA screeners use the fact that you need to make your flight to bust balls. Get the TSA supervisors name as soon as they arrive. In this case the pilot should have explained to the TSA supervisor that he was being harassed. Then explain how you will make an official complaint with the TSA District Office. Keep in mind this is a dog and pony show becaue the commercial cargo they load into the belly of every passenger jet is not screened. Think about what I just said. Thank you! |

These are known workers and should have their own access entry checks. I have to agree in this particular situation b/c they work for the airlines and they should get to go through a different line. If they pass thru the same thing daily then what is the issue for security? |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1064365 United States 10/18/2010 08:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Has anyone ever just gotten so fed up with the tsa and just striped naked and walked through? I would love to see what happens. A group that is flying should just get their tickets go to the tsa line and trhought there clothing on the x-ray belt. Make sure to tape it to get the reaction of everyone. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 917349Or...why don't they make the TSA goons go through the scan as well, does the seven dollar an hour laborer represent more of a threat to us then the pilot? I think probably so.... |

Screening is screening. It has to be done for the public safety. If this man is so mentally unstable that he wants to cause difficulty for the screening process, he needs to be fired. That is all there is to it. TSA has no way of knowing for certain that he IS the pilot or a phony. They are tasked with preventing any object that can be used to harm passengers from passing through security. They have to do their job for the safety of the traveling public. This idiot airline pilot seems to think that because he is wearing a uniform, he does not need to be screened. He is a fucking idiot. Fire his ass. SHILL!!!! |

If they don't recognize him by now.... In case you missed it, he's a pilot. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1032329I will add, it is a different situation when you full body scan a random passenger who you will likely never remember or see again... it is another to body scan for someone they have known for 5 years and may very well know for the next 5 years. It only increases the indignity of the situation. Having dealt with some very professional TSA agents -- and some incredibily unprofessional ones as well, I have to believe he ran into the latter. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 977055soon, it won't matter if you don't fly since they are introducing these security measures to sporting events and will try to start using it in other aspects of your lives. wake up america and stop putting up with the bull shit. learn from france and start protesting against the people that are eroding your rights. RFID National ID card is coming. Then the chip. The sheep will line up for it just like the "flu shot". i don't think they will need a chip with the artificial neurons growing in their brains and the crystals and metals from the chemtrails |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1134617TSA, or nobody has any business x-raying us and groping us. I don't feel one bit safer on any airline by knowing passengers has passed a "peek" or "grope" test. There never were any hijackers with box cutters anyway. The pilot didn't want to be groped or zapped himself, but he still wants all the passengers groped or zapped. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1134675 United States 10/18/2010 08:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Rules are rules.... The pilot knew them, and instead had to play smartass. Keep in mind this is a dog and pony show because the commercial cargo they load into the belly of every passenger jet is not screened. Indeed Rarely fly anymore- If I had my own plane, even a small one-it would be different I do not need a jet like pelosi said she needed...with 220 additional seats...and all the perks Likewise I know the cargo is not handled as roughly as travelers I also have gotten a few of 'them' to let me know how long they are trained...2 weeks seemed common...and quite dangerous I am not surprised most had low skills prior to their employment-or they would not be so compliant to their overlords(fallen as they are) and they would not be so eager to violate long standing laws and rights-only in such profound ignorance can one act the way most of them do. Even the Israeli security expert with about 3-4 decades in security over there-stated the THZ(terahertz) scanners were useless for many items or skill He cleared the machines with plenty to prove it- Chertoff really does PROFIT with each one sold and they offer a false sense of security SOME BASIC CHANGES THAT WOULD HELP SECURITY IMMENSELY are ignored-so they can terrorize the public-many who have yet to recover from 911 or the chaos that unfolds daily much of it contrived dangerous to DNA and especially children or pregnant women or those who are in the ages of childbearing They want everyone sterile for the most part-seriously-and most tsa have minimal understanding of radio frequency or the dangers to humans or living biologic tissue Ionizing and the frequency to jack ones DNA permanently-or their young or progeny far down the line. |
