a good majority of the items that is sitting and being transported doesn't even get "screened"....mostly the cargo including shipping items.

I once heard this "agent" say...if they had to screen each cargo item in ONE PLANE plus the checked bags, it would take more than a week for the plane to take off...

um, im not sure how memphis works it, but flight crew is not subject to all the same searches regular passengers are. im going to call semi bs on this on, having an ex flight attendant as a fiance.

having the SITA badge means that flight crew has already passed security background checks and is allowed access to damn near anywhere inside or outside the terminal. they quickly pass through security and go through a metal detector and arent required to take off shoes, etc.

I don't feel one bit safer on any airline by knowing passengers has passed a "peek" or "grope" test.

don't make this a "black/white" thing. I see lots of middle aged white screeners working for TSA along with mexicans and blacks (but strangely, I've yet to see an Asian TSA employee.)

I have to agree in this particular situation b/c they work for the airlines and they should get to go through a different line. If they pass thru the same thing daily then what is the issue for security?

Or...why don't they make the TSA goons go through the scan as well, does the seven dollar an hour laborer represent more of a threat to us then the pilot? I think probably so....

I will add, it is a different situation when you full body scan a random passenger who you will likely never remember or see again... it is another to body scan for someone they have known for 5 years and may very well know for the next 5 years. It only increases the indignity of the situation.

Having dealt with some very professional TSA agents -- and some incredibily unprofessional ones as well, I have to believe he ran into the latter.

Simple solution. Tell him to become a Muslim.

This weekend, my daughter who was flying home alone from a college break got groped and "molested" by some big lesbian TSA agent because she just happened to be one of their random search victims.
I am so upset about this. This was her first time flying by herself. So they picked an 18 year old toe-headed blonde to pick on for their random groping pleasure-seeking sessions!!!!

Keep in mind this is a dog and pony show because the commercial cargo they load into the belly of every passenger jet is not screened.

Likewise I know the cargo is not handled as roughly as travelers

I also have gotten a few of 'them' to let me know how long they are trained...2 weeks seemed common...and quite dangerous

Even the Israeli security expert with about 3-4 decades in security over there-stated the THZ(terahertz) scanners were useless for many items or skill
