Edgar Cayce: New Madrid Fault
Just a little food for thought, Edgar Cayce, predicted that the New Madrid fault would empty the great lakes and divide the USA (geographically).

Now, we have earthquake swarms from Quebec to Arkansas.

Discuss.

Oh, and if all you have is a BS flag, don't waster your click. It doesn't faze me, because I'm not saying this is what I believe, I'm asking for discussion.

The New Madrid doom is a hell of alot more plausible than Cali slipping into the ocean, if you look at the geology & science behind it.

There were several *prophets* (I use that term loosely) that claimed the same vision but I'm pretty sure Cayce was the original.

IDK, part of me thinks we will actually see a very serious New Madrid event before any of the other predicted 'mega quakes'........... frightening prospect to say the least. The farther east you get, the more severe the seismic events effect becomes due to the change in rock formation. This one really freaks me out :( :yoda:

Actually, Edgar Cayce wasn't all that accurate. He also admitted that a swarm of "entities" were speaking through him so some had medical knowledge and some earth changes knowledge. I'm pretty sure I have a book that quotes Edgar Cayce as saying the pole shift would be finished by 2002.

Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support!

Did he say what the US would look like after it got divided? Would it be the entire continent or just part of it? I mean, will Mexico and Canada split too or just at the fault line...

I also believe it makes more sense than cali falling into the ocean, but these days nothing surprised me anymore.
Goodbye, halcyon days...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

Prophecy may not be all that accurate, though, because nothing is set in stone. It all depends on us. Doesn't mean the pole shift is not going to happen...just may happen at a later date.

I happen to live in a dry spot, thank goodness. Here is a page on Edgar Cayce's predictions.

[link to www.theastralworld.com]

"This article deals with Edgar Cayce's Predictions for the coming changes to our planet. I'm using the term predictions instead of prophecies for 2 reasons: 1. Predictions are more something that a psychic predicts will happen and not always does, and 2. For some reason people search for Edgar Cayce's Predictions twice as much as they do for Edgar Cayce's Prophecies... Either way, we're still dealing with Edgar Cayce and what his sub-conscious mind says will involve a pole shift and a huge change to the earth some would call Armageddon".

If America forces Israel to divide its land, God will divide America as well.

* * *Report FROM New Madrid Fault area: The surface rupture of the roads and highways is out of control.

Subject: New Madrid quake is next

One of my psychic friends says the New Madrid area is the next event that will happen. And if it does, then all
that oily Gulf mess will pour into the hole it leaves when the land sinks. This country deserves it...

Is anyone following the tectonic pressure ....

Hello Raye;

I live on the New Madrid fault. And I can tell you this. The surface rupture of the roads and highways is out of control. Also, everyday of
the week, the structure of my moms home is "cracking" and shifting. You can hear the walls and the surface crack.

Nearby is a dollar general store. In that parking lot there are 3 flagpoles that "vibrate" violently. (not shaking from wind) Each and
everyday, the roads "blow" up potholes. U.S. 41 is ruptured severely.

Interstate 65 is also badly damaged. They keep trying to repave them but it doesn't work. The Cline Ave bridge at points is closing. This bridge
and off ramps leads right into Inland steel and LTV steel and BP Amoco. So far, I believe 5-7 bridges have been shut down or are scheduled for
closing because they are unsafe.

I monitor the earthquakes daily. And as you know there are far too many happening too quickly.

I believe the general public has been misled. In my opinion, the 2012 shift is happening now, but everyone has been conditioned to believe
that they still have time to prepare for the main event. Thats b.s. It doesn't happen all at once.

In Momence Illinois, some of the buildings are beginning to "sink". In Cedar Lake Indiana, the same is happening.

The bottom line is this; Buildings are cracking, parking lots can't be fixed, roads and bridges are closing every week, sidewalks are sinking
and sinkholes are opening everywhere. At time day or night, you can literally feel the earth "vibrate" below your feet.

I'm in Northwest Indiana, and I believe we are about to get hit with a earthquake of biblical proportions. We are surrounded by propane,
natural gas and BP Amoco refineries.

And, I'm more than concerned what will happen when the new madrid erupts.

best regards
Bob

when the red comet passes but returns with a gas then mens eyes will fall dead like man on a cold slab.

men shall walk to an throw cursing the earth
yes it shall come to pass.

Then a strange spiraling light from source quite near also from the son ,it is infinitey bright ear piercing its screech.

Then shall all men sleep 3 days and nights on road an field in bed an work.

Comforted as being alive yet experience they have a real living god is present,

felt the world over encompassed is earth without exception people will deny ,it is to there loss.

once it passes the evil red eye men stir then they awake but dumbfound posses-d by fear -despair,- desperation ,

melancholia ensue like a breeched dam causing a snare around necks to fight is lost, the crushing weight its cries, terrible deeds ,men cry on there knees in fear.

3 years will pass many do die.but a light does come with teaching the law .carrying a torch of hope.

men do see it coming in the heavenly sky looking like a hand extending ,then all of a sudden a ray or golden rope.

I think he said the polar shift would start in 1998. This is also the time the poles started to melt.

If the planet shifted the water of the great lakes could flow down the Mississippi Valley, earthquake or not.

This action might also explain how the Grand Canyon was formed.

Niagara Falls and the Nile River where both formed in their present location 12,500 years ago the last time the poles melted.

I've been following Cayce's predictions for years.

I recommend reading Edgar Cayce on medicine.

The book is so thorough and well documented, it will leave little doubt that Cayce was gifted.

Once that's done, try Cayce's more esoteric subjects.

I think Cayce said there would be cracking along the St Lawrence Seaway...so that may be incoming water and the Mississippi the outflowing. Maybe someone can find that prediction for you.

Hot spots are caused by a plume of magma rising. It's simple convection. Other areas have to sink. New Madrid is on top a new mantle sinkhole and will become a subduction zone like Tonga. It could extend through Arkansas and OKlahoma and branch into the GOM towards Cuba.

We can only live through a small piece of the action.

Yeah, man! It's a shame about the destruction and death/injuries, and all but still, IT'S GOING TO BE COOL AS SHIT! Can you imagine it? Massive earth shaking, a real adrenaline rush, then, RIIIIIIP!...and the whole continent is wrenched apart! Wow! And all the new waterfront property! With all the destruction along the edge of the waterways, one could probably claim some property, build a decent earth-friendly home, and have direct access to the fresh, pristine waters of the Gulf of Mexico!

Glad I don't live right on top of it. I'm at the eastern foothills of the Appalachians in the Eastern Panhandle so we have a lot of mountain between here and where the Madrid runs. I'm sure we would definitely feel it though and have some shaking going on.

It will definitely change the psyche of a whole lot of people when they realize that the planet can just open up like that.

Re: Edgar Cayce: New Madrid Fault
If it wasn't for the locks on the Chicago Sanitary (Barge) Canal Lake Michigan would already be draining into the Mississippi!!

It wouldn't take much earth movement to get at least a partial drainage of the Great Lakes through the Mississippi via the very low land that Chicago now occupies.

A 50 foot drop in elevation of that 15 miles that separates Lake Michigan from an unimpeded trip down the Illinois River ... and voila people could be walking along the bottom of DRY Niagra Falls picking up things the Indians threw over the falls 200 years ago since the upper lakes would all be draining out over the NEW Chicago Rapids & Falls.

(and shallow Lake Erie would mostly dry up since it is on average only about 30 feet deep and without the water from the upper lakes reaching it it would soon dry up to be only be a "Lake" in it's deep channel locations)

The next New Madrid type quake could conceivably cause that type of calamity to occure ... during the series of quakes in 1811/1812 LOTS of areas subsided by over 100 feet and a number of areas went up by similar amounts. Today the great Mississippi river is in places tens of miles from where it was in 1811 before the great quakes occured.
