OP is obsolutely 100% right.
When someone I know did it, I saw a praying mantis type astral entitiy IMMEDIATELY completely surround his body. This stuff, just like meditation, opens you up to serious astral attack (as does meditation, yoga, and all sorts of other stuff).
Don't mess with psychs.
