Eureka Worlds Tallest Apartment Building 300m Melbourne:First to use BIM Technology
From my office window I have a clear view of this edifice being constructed 1 km away.It is a huge wedge shape and dominates the skyline.
Eureka, named after the Eureka stockade,a turning point in Australian history,as the gold miners, diggers, rebelled against authorities, and won.British Imperialisim squashed. There is even a Eureka flag. Historically. The symbolic reason this beautiful building is named Eureka is it represents a heritage of rebellion against the bloody British insurgents
who attempted to colonise us Aussies in the 1800s,but of course they failed.

Eureka is the first skyscraper in the world to feature BIM,an integrated intelligence system.
The building is designed and constructed in Melbourne.

Grollo´s plan to build 600 meter tower in Melbourne is rejected by the then government.

Worlds tallest building, the same design,is now being constructed,by Daniel Grollo in Dubai.
His Father built the Rialto in 1977,the tallest building in Australia until this venture, the Eureka.

above link has it that

7 South Dearborn will be a 108-story, 1,550-foot tower, which will be

the world´s tallest building.

When topped by two digital broadcast antennas, 7 South Dearborn will achieve a total height of 2,000 feet. The mixed-use complex will include commercial office, residential, retail and parking.

I wonder if it will be the tallest building counting the attennas?
