The polar political paradigm -
it makes me feel so very sad.
To throw in with one or another,
you seem like you've surely been had.

For how does that man on the teevee
care more than your neighbor and friend
whom you called a tard, and rode so very hard,
for flipping a coin in the end?

See the guy who just now got elected
is no different from the man before.
He's not like you or me,
he's the powers that be,
and he uses you like a cheap whore.

For if he were not there to "help" us,
how much less would truly get done?
Would the world be less sane
or somehow more inane?
Would there be much more work and less fun?

The way it stands now fellow voter,
there's a shitstorm that's coming our way,
and when it hits the fan,
we'll do what we can,
but he'll be in the bunker that day.

So let's all now take a quiet moment
and reflect upon one special thing.
It's the people, you see,
not the powers that be,
for whom we must let freedom ring.
