Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1131647Maybe its not a Cell phone as we know them? We all use our ears to hear, so perhaps its another type of communications device that is the same size as a phone. Sorry, but it's a first generation hearing aid. [link to hearing.siemens.com] circa 1924 |

Sorry, but it's a first generation hearing aid. [link to hearing.siemens.com] circa 1924 Plausible. If it was this, her talking might indeed be her self-adjusting the volume of her hearing-aid device. But, what was the pattern of necessary useage with this device? Was it held to the ear as someone spoke into it, or did it employ an earbud, as many more modern hearing aids do? I've been quite enthralled with the possibilities of this having been an actual capture of anomalous out-of-time technology on film, but I think the possibility of it being a Siemans hearing aid device has to be considered quite high. If the mechanics of ordinary useage equate with the filmed activities of the lady, it's quite likely this. |

However, when it comes down to choosing between "reason" and "what we want it to be"...reason should really rule the day. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 728979Simple? "Simple" doesn't necessarily equate to "fallacious". Love your answers. The above "TV" (Transvestite) caught 'in the act' is just as plausible. imho We see only 8+ seconds of someones life caught on film. That 'snapshot' could simply be that person in a deep thought ..."did I remember to turn off the tea pot?.." coupled with getting filmed on one of those 'new-fangled' devices you are hearing so much about. Because by the op's logic... ..If it was a TT and he/she was 'caught', we would never be seeing this film, now would we? |

But I just watched Star Trek: Enterprise episode 109 "Civilization" last night and that totally came to mind. :) Archer and a few others go to a planet that is like Earth in the Middle Ages. They had to make costumes to fit in, but they were walking through the street talking on their communication devices. So, that could be an alien and when they gathered intelligence to make the costumes, they got the gender stuff wrong. Hehe. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 875736 United States 10/23/2010 04:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is far more possible that this is a man (foot, hand, nose size) that he has lived since the time of Christ, that he is using salvaged technology from before the flood. There are obscure records (not online that I am aware of) that at least four men were granted extended life spans in order to help mankind from a hyper mortal state, and see the second coming of Christ. It is very clear to those who study history that pre-flood peoples were highly advanced, had flight, had off planet civilizations, knew modes of travel that we do not, experienced meetings with resurrected beings, as well as evil spirits, experienced marriages between mortal women and resurrected males, producing giants, and that the Catholic church and Luciferians (NWO) have colluded to extract and hide artifacts and records left behind, wherever they have been discovered. |

But what about the clip? Is it possible the clip was shot later, maybe as part of the extras package, and that some dumbass actor was ordering pizzas on the set? Unlikely, I know, but you've got to rule out the mundane before you go accepting the supernatural. Quoting: The_ReturnerFinally, let's say you are a time traveler. You've arrived in 1928. You're in period-correct dress. You're trying to blend in with the primitive 20th centurites. So you get on your Transtemporal Nokia and start blabbering away in public? Really? That's what you do, in front of a freaking movie camera crew? Lots of questions. Few reasonable answers. The clip is part of a 6 minute newsreel shot in January 1928 at the premiere of Chaplin's movie. It isn't a movie set, it's a real street and those are real people, not actors. He is portrayed as a brilliant theoretical physicist and cosmologist, who researches the cosmic microwave background, supersymmetry, string theory, 11-dimensional supergravity theory, doubly-special relativity, black holes, and gravitational waves, using LIGO to check predictions on quantum corrections. He may have even found a way to express Calabi-Yau manifolds in a way that goes beyond a non-vanishing harmonic spinor and, independent of Charlie, published a work of genius entitled Zero Point Energy and Quantum Cosmology, which could provide insight into the cosmological constant problem (episode 3x4,The Mole). Larry has also worked on the photoelectric properties of Ly-alpha emitters in a QZ2 plane universe. Dr. Fleinhardt holds the Walter T. Merrick Chair in Theoretical Physics.
