Anonymous Coward User ID: 1138408 United States 10/23/2010 05:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | WHY IS THE PERSON DRESSED LIKE Peter MacNicol AS Janosz Poha AND ACTUALLY GIVES THAT LOOK WHEN HE STEALS OSCAR AND LEAVES If you can remember he comes back as a demonic nanny and takes the baby He also starred in the drama NUMB3RS as physicist Dr. Larry Fleinhardt Dr. Lawrence Fleinhardt is a professor of physics at CalSci (a university based on Caltech and located in Los Angeles in the Numb3rs universe) and best friend and colleague of Charlie Eppes. He is portrayed as a brilliant theoretical physicist and cosmologist, who researches the cosmic microwave background, supersymmetry, string theory, 11-dimensional supergravity theory, doubly-special relativity, black holes, and gravitational waves, using LIGO to check predictions on quantum corrections. He may have even found a way to express Calabi-Yau manifolds in a way that goes beyond a non-vanishing harmonic spinor and, independent of Charlie, published a work of genius entitled Zero Point Energy and Quantum Cosmology, which could provide insight into the cosmological constant problem (episode 3x4,The Mole). Larry has also worked on the photoelectric properties of Ly-alpha emitters in a QZ2 plane universe. Dr. Fleinhardt holds the Walter T. Merrick Chair in Theoretical Physics. |

Quoting: operationblamegameShe/He could be listening to their favorite song and singing to it. No. Radios, other than crystal receivers, were bulky, heavy devices, that used "tubes" instead of transistors. A tube needed at least 90 volts for the heater coil. In those days a battery to produce 90 volts would have been enormous. |

Perhaps she was talking to a hair brush that used to belong to a relative. Just a theory. Whatever the answer, surely she can be tracked down. Her identity i mean. Our local newspaper often has old photographs in it with requests for names to nameless people. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1139122[link to hearing.siemens.com] circa 1924 Guess whi invented it ? We germans did. Being german just feels awesome. We invented like everything ... cars, planes (first human flight: Otto Lilienthal), Moonrockets (Wernher von Braun), industrialized genocide (wasn't that smart of an idea, he was Austrian though) ... where would the world be without us inventing all kind of stuff. lol "we Germans" - nope those Germans. Love how you like to take credit for other peoples work. Personally I dont like to pride myself on what people who live near me do. What have you invented? |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1132068 India 10/23/2010 06:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just amazing... Check the main link comment section : I have met a time traveller, from the 28th century, she was very interested in the gadgets she saw in my home. She told me many things including how items like personal computers and communication devices including mobile phones and television became obsolete in the latter part of the 21st century. She told me people were implanted with a biophoton implant which could be understood as a "computer" interfacing with the brain. This allowed telepathic communication. She told me she was able to travel through what we call time by manipulation of gravity and that time does not really exist as we know it. She described many universes and said they could be understood by imagining many overlapping spirals like multiple coiled springs. By manipulating gravity the coils could be pulled together. Time, she told me could be understood as the cols stretching apart. Moving further away but never disconnected. My point is time travellers do not have mobile phones, so whatever this clip shows, it does not show a time traveller. She also told me that ghosts and aliens etc are on coils of the spring and that some people can affect gravity with their minds and pull coils closer together hence the images. Her final comment was to explain that everything in what we call the universe including time and gravity is merely an aspect of thought or imagination. She said mind was the spring and everything that was, is or will be. She told me that time travel does not happen in the physical sense as we know it but it happens in the mind but seems physical ie external to the mind. She told me we will all be time travellers but did not explain how or when. She told me to look at the stars and think of them as thoghts in the mind. I did not understand this or many of the other things she tells me on her visits. Apart from these experiences I am just an average person. |

What I find fantastic is any notion that there are answers beyond the realm of science. The answers are there. You just have to know where to look. We're all gonna die. The only question is when & how you check out. Do you want it on your feet? Or on your knees... begging?! I ain't much for begging! Nobody ever gave me nothing! |

Kind of like ...Star Trek and their "tri-corder"(sp) communication devices. They did not have the technology to build it but had the ideas and portrayed it on tv... this maybe something of the same... |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1129764 United Kingdom 10/23/2010 07:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Guys, guys, guys...Its probably one of these things: beckerexhibits.wustl.edu/did/20thcent/spv.htm It was common for people who were testing their hearing aids to talk to them selves (you get a different sound if the voice is being played in from 'outside' than the resonance in your head). Not a time traveller. Either the above or a piece that has been put in later ,like a viral, for example, the same way Star Wars: Return of the Jedi got a young Darth Vader patched in the last scene in the latest DVD releases.... Not much here....move on. |
