But I just can not make myself believe that the KJV Bible that we have is the inspired word of a loving God. I truly believe if more christians would actually sit down and read it they would come to the same conclusion. 1) the vatican among others have perverted the text so much that it's far from original

2) there are hundreds of religions (sects) if not thousands that use the bible as the basis of their beliefs... why don't they agree with each other? different ways of being saved, different views on what is acceptable or not... if god wanted his word to be spread and accepted why would he leave it up to interpretation?

3) every religion claims that THEIR book is the truth and every one else's is wrong? i doubt all of them for their arrogance. there is just as much proof backing the bible's claims as there is proof backing any other holy book.

I fact you are more correct than you know. The "Christians" of today would rebuke the true God of the bible immediately if they judged him by the measure they judge most. However, it's not until one reads the Pseudopigrapha and the Apocrypha that people will begin to understand the true depth in it's entirety. Sadly enough though, most will never truly research anything in regards to ancient knowledge. They'll continue to listen to their ministers who pretend to be teachers of God's word yet have no idea who he really is.

So I personally feel for ya. I wanted to know just what happened to me (what I posted on the other thread about myself) and you know what I am talking about.
I wanted clarity as to why this happened to me.
I found out.
That is why I have spent my afternoon with ya, to tell ya, there is more going on in this world than you can imagine. And the darkness rules even the children of the light and they don't even know it.

If your only response to someone regarding scripture is to quote more scripture, you really don't get it. And you look ridiculous doing it.

Primitive man did not, and does not, hold the truth. They were barely able to read, write, or make a decent pair of pants. They thought the sky was a solid mass, when is it actually empty space.
