I like if you use a ruler and draw lines along the path of all the streaks in your first post...most of the lines intersect they are definitely not parallel...not sure if that supports or debunks this though..lol..is it probably something like a local event at the spacecraft caused by high energy particles bombarding the spacecraft or some such thing.

We are awaiting to see what happen to K2 at perihelion. Last word was it had split nucleus, the secondary nucleus had disentegrated, and there was evidence of a third nucleus split and streaming debris from the comet as it neared perihelion on June 29 at 9m (4times brighter then predictions). Since that time we have had no current reports as to whether the comet has survived perihelion or when it will be visible again.. at this time it seems to be lost at perihelion with no current observations reported..

So because they are moving so quickly is why they are in only single frames? So they are each like small comets in their own right. I agree we have seen this many times b4 but with proton storms comets crashing into the sun and all the other stuff on Soho I couldn´t say before exactly what we were seeing...thanks it makes perfect sense now...
I think it is just the fact that this happen so close to a big unknown with deep impact.
Also, you guys think anything Nasa ever does ´realtime´ is really such...they need time to formulate an explanation when if the unexpected happens...I still think this has got to be one of the all time STUPIDest things those aholes have ever done...well, besides that little stunt with Jupiter …
