| Anonymous Coward User ID: 24288854 09/23/2012 10:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It depends on what kind you buy.$1 would have more than $10 scratch offs for instance. Some come in a stack of 50 or 100. So states are different and the cheaper they are the more thats on a roll.I think $20 tickets are 15 per stack.$1 would be at least 100 in most states I would think.A roll of $2 locally has 150 I believe. |

No winners on a roll for 20 odd tickets I would buy the next seven or so tickets. It put a few extra hundred in my pocket every week, fuck the customers they don't deserve shit Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1136348 Clerks or anyone who does that needs to eat shit. I believe most stores around where I live have a policy if you are working as a clerk you can't buy tickets and screw the customers that "don't deserve shit" as you say. I had this happen before. A new ticket came out and I was on my way home from work. I like buying new tickets seems half the big stuff gets hit fairly quick. I stopped at a little grimy store by my job and told the drugged out clerk to keep the tickets coming until I win. Nobody else was in there, so what the hell. I scratched 2 with no winners and the little crackhead ripped the 3rd ticket off and slid it down the table to some homeless looking guy who may have been her pimp. He won a thousand bucks and I bitched them both out. Clerks cheat big time. Counting between losing tickets isn't that hard. I've only hit 2 tickets back to back for more than $50 once. These days I almost have better luck from the machines they put up in grocery stores. |

This screws up their count and I'm all for doing anything that throws a wrench in their scam. Take the winners to a store down the street to cash in. |

Has a guarantee return (winners) of around $380. The big winners are scattered among the THOUSANDS of rolls. You are still playing the long odds of hitting a big one... But it can be fun! Especially at Christmas time. Everybody scratch see who wins what. You will almost always lose money playing this way. |

Quoting: Dr.Green Thumb I was thinking of trying it with a brand that has a lot of winners left in it. Was wondering your opinions and if anyone has ever tried it! Thanks@!@ If you buy the entire roll, you will lose money. Unless as I'm sure you already know if you happen to hit a big prize. But pretty much every roll pays out less than they cost. |

This is true too. I worked at a store and would make at least $20 a day watching for losers and buying after a few had lost. The best day I had was just under $200 and the biggest prize was only $50. For the cashiers it works out great for people to scratch right there! |

| grittin7 User ID: 14028338 01/23/2013 06:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes,in stead of spending 10-20 on a daily I save up to $200 and buy a roll of $2 which is 100 tickets. My winning fluctuate between breaking even or being up a couple of dollars. Not all clerks at store will sell them that way. may the force be with you. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 3945611 03/31/2013 04:15 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Have bought a whole roll all rolls in Tennessee are $300 and lost$100 even with a$100 winner in the roll. It was on a $20 ticket. But i have hit for $500 and $2,500 but it seems to pay out more for me when buying conservatively but every time i have won$500 or more the lowest value on the scratch off was a $5 ticket. Therefore my conclusion when i win a descent prize by that i mean more than $50 it's usually when being conservative, and when i buy one maybe two tickets. |
