Slovenia elects Peter Bossman as first black mayor | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1109214 Slovenia 10/25/2010 10:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A Ghana-born doctor has been elected the first black mayor in Slovenia - and probably the first in old Yugoslavia. Peter Bossman, a candidate of the centre-left Social Democrats (SD), narrowly won a municipal election in the Slovenian coastal town of Piran. He said people no longer saw the colour of his skin and his election showed the "high level of democracy in Slovenia". [link to www.bbc.co.uk] I wonder if he would be elected if there would actually be a black minority in Slovenia. Good for him though he seems nice and well integrated. Its weird how it become news on all major Europe MSM. Looks like TPTB got their momento in plans for East! |
