And people read these things and start in with the anti-devil schtick not really knowing what they are doing or saying.

It is all rather speculative and a lot of guess work is involved based on really old evidence.
Sure there are bad entities, and good ones as well.
So we can call them devils and fallen angels or whatever.
The terms are rather meaningless though, just like the word god/God, and serves only as a general identifier.
The point I was coming from is that there is a being called satan we are told who did all this bad stuff and is guilty of great crimes and is our enemy, etc etc,blah blah blah...
And it is all a crock.
According to the Sumerian stories, the entity called today as Lucifer did far more for humanity than the other god who took over and caused confusion to reign on the earth with distorted languages and all manner of other programs since.
