Sunspot 1117 EXPLODED!! Earth Facing!

1117 is festering like a big pimple ready to pop.

Maybe the one from yesterday wasn't "the one" perhaps?

Who said the Sunspot exploded. Who ever started the thread is a maniac. Since yesterday, the shape-shifting sunspot has developed a "beta-gamma" magnetic field that harbors energy for M-class solar flares. Any such eruptions will likely be geoeffective because the sunspot is almost-squarely facing Earth. Readers with solar telescopes are encouraged to monitor developments. Just hope that it explodes before turning into a X8 class. If it does not explode by the next 2 days we're all in for some trouble.
