Problem: A Horde of GLP users has all recently received an error message that says "OUT OF MEMORY: At Line 2"

really sounds like you people getting this need to upgrade some component.. possibly the .NET framework
but ....try doing an upgrade of flash first and see if that fixes it.

I went into IE TOOLS>Manage add ons and disabled "Shockwave Flash Object"
It nags a little, but seems to d/l the pages faster and disables all the video commercials.

Some say it Has to do with site software.

Another site said that Microsoft caused it with an update from June. Supposedly they have another to fix it.

There is a lot of confusion on the matter. Some think it has to do with the memory of the individual computer.
I guess if one has not seen this before they would think so.
But that is definitly NOT the case.

Next time the eror message comes up, take a better look at it. I was sure it said the message was from this site.

I vanishes as soon as we click the "OK", so we know that it is not our individual computers.

GLP needs to get a clue.

If only a few are affected & not all, it is the END USERS ISSUE.
You have issues that are allowing something to occur, that most are not.
Fix your shit....

If it's happening to some users all of the sudden, I doubt it's only a local thing. Something changed or was added to the forum that is creating that error.
If it's something in the forum, either an Add or in the forum code itself, it's not a user responsibility to "fix" it, unless there is an announcement on the forum itself pointing out an incompatibility with something.
Since the silence about this from part of the mods/admins is obvious, I'll hint that they have no idea of the cause of this.
As admin, I think it's one of their functions, to find out what can be causing the error and report it.

I'm getting it on my laptop too. Desktop runs GLP no problem though

Its been happeing to me since last night. I cleared all my temporary internet pages and other things like others have. I still get the error.

My bet is that it has something to do with ads.

The ERROR is comming from http//ad.reduxmedia.com as it is what is loading when the error occures.

It is NOT An End users computer issue.
