Same thing here. I awoke to a huge grid over-head in an otherwise perfectly blue sky.

I was going to take pictures as it was quite remarkable....have not seen it like this in months. In fact almost all summer has been clear. My camera is now charging, but they have fanned out across the sky turning it milky and ugly.

Did you see the thread about the huge storm coming in from the west coast?
I wondered if it had anything to do with this.

I'll see if I can get any pictures later or perhaps tomorrow morning if it's a repeat of today.
